They look very shiny. Too shiny, in fact. Does the Royal Mint only produce proof coins? They have the same kind of mirror appearance that a proof ASE might have.

Does anyone have any recently minted Brittanias, preferably 2015's? Do they have a very shiny appearance?

I just ordered a 2015, I have a few 2014's as well never noticed anything unusual about them. I also buy a lot of CSM's that tend to be shinier than ASE's but I always assumed it had more to do with the design and the purity difference. I haven't got my 2015 in yet but I'll look at my 2014's closer later and see if they look unusually shiny.
