In another forum I visit, there was some speculation about what appears to be a recurring dip in silver during the overnight (here) trading. Some saying it might be related to the Shanghai Gold Exchange others saying it's an urban myth. Some of you guys follow that a lot closer than I, have you noticed that trend and if so, any theories why?

Dips of any kind are always the result of less demand at that time for whatever reason. Could be related to the major markets (U.S. & Europe) being closed as demand would automatically be less when any major market is shut down.
