dude is avoiding repo- the remote shut off- he disabled it. Is that a crime?

Dude been playing too much rap music- we want him gone.

He is hiding his car from repo.

We want this car gone. It has ruined the neighborhood.

I seriously doubt it is illegal. Even if it was, it would probably be the kind of thing you fail an inspection for, rather than the kind of thing you get arrested for.

No. The car is financed. He fixed it so they cant turn it off remotely. He stopped making the payments and is hiding his car at his parents house- which is another address.

The finance company remotely turned the car off once before.

Now they cant.

The car is a piece of junk. I sure would not have signed a note on it.
