Tapatalk update

I just installed an update for the tapatalk system. I also received the following notice via email:

When I visit this site with a mobile device, I am prompted to download Tapatalk. Unfortunately, when I try to download it, I found it is not a free software. Does anyone know of a free version?

I believe it's $2 or $3 for the iPad/iPhone/ietc. Not sure of the cost for Android systems, but I suspect it's similarly priced.

The people using Tapatalk on another forum I own (medical topic - nothing to do with PMs) all rave about it.

I just installed the latest tapatalk update. Supposedly, this update allows you to use the "Like" system now.

I still want to stab tapatalk in the eye when it pops up for every PMBug page I visit from a mobile device!

It is my fault I guess; I disallow cookies completely.

There are a few members here who are using it. Maybe they can post a review as to whether it's worth the $3 or so?

Just installed another update for tapatalk. This update supposedly fixed some minor glitches.

Tapatalk claims they now have a free version available. The free version shows ads in it. The ads are tapatalk's ads - not mine.

Just installed it. Not the free one.

Working fine though commentors are arguing 2 is still better. Go figure, I'm new to this.
