Two questions here from the someone new to PMs. I'm investing in silver exclusively, but saw that nickel is at $8.00 +/- now. Does anyone invest in nickel? I don't think it's a precious metal, but I see it sold in troy ounces vs avdp, which is what copper is being sold in. If neither are PMs, why is one measured in ozt and the other avdp?
Thanks

Keep it simple. Stick to gold and silver. And don't buy any collectables with numismatic value. If you want the most bang for your buck, stick to bullion bars.

Absolutely. That's exactly what my intention is-to stick with pm, especially Ag. I was just curious 'cause I saw some sellers on e-Bay offering copper by avdp weight and nickle in troy weight.
