Palladium's "Pantalones" Taken Down!

...

Since it's late, I am too lazy to track the Pd price way back yonder in time, but palladium is getting hit like almost every commodity is, perhaps even harder. As you can via pmbug's kitco widget up there, it's below $500 / oz. Platinum is also a very low $880 or so.

kitco's website only shows Pd prices back for just 5 years. Pd price now is the lowest by $100... Five year chart is on this page:

http://www.kitco.com/charts/livepalladium.html

Pd and Pt are used big-time as catalysts, very important in making fuels from crude oil. With the Baltic Dry Index down so much and railroads down so much (transportation almost grinding to a halt), ah, ah, "Houston, we have a problem."

2016 is going to be an interesting year.

It does seem that there are numerous indications that risk is higher than ever of TSHTF (economically). The Fed doesn't appear to have many options left to it to levitate markets. Not sure if any foreign central bank powers have the power to move the needle significantly. It's going to be an ... interesting year.
