This is a thread dedicated to what people are seeing in their local areas.

Let me start things...

For the low spot price of platinum versus gold, I literally can not find any platinum locally aside from a few high end proof (way overpriced) items.

Interestingly, it wasn't until after gold started going up this past week did the local stores start getting a lot of gold business. They had been dead for a few months, but now have nothing but AGEs and a few bars left in stock.

Times must be really bad in my area; I have never seen so many people selling old antique sterling silver tea/dinner sets. I do not mess with sterling silver, but there is a LOT available at the local stores.
