Once there was a time when economists wrote the truth, they were´nt corrupted by funny fiat money given to them by the tbtfb.
Alan Greenspan once was a goldbug.
I don´t want to post his whole article on gold, because it´s too long.

He was bought off with the offer of heading the Federal Reserve. Ahh, money. It changed all his former principles.
