Solid Gold LEGOs

Yes there is such a thing... If you are willing to spend almost 15k on a 25.65 grams piece of solid 14 karat gold, you could get a gold LEGO. I know I know, spot gold value of this thing is about $822 as we speak, so it's really not worth it, but honestly if I could get one for around spot price I would probably get one, just for fun. But if you were uber rich just imagine the possibilities if you got a whole bunch of these. The artlice says they used to be given to business partners and LEGO employees, that had been with the company for 25 years, so I doubt there are many out there, but its still pretty cool, I thought.

Here's the link.

If only I were a billionaire. I would buy enough of them to build a cool model.

The knobs do not have the Lego logo one them, like the real bricks.

It's 14K gold, so not really bullion quality. Would be fun to build something if you had ~100 of them to work with.
