No knock raids are complete bullshit. Locally, Houston is abandoning them after their narcotics division executed a couple while serving a warrant based upon a complete fabrication of pretext.

Stuff like that happens all the time or they'll get the wrong house, bust down some guys door, shoot his dog, then shoot him, wife & who knows who/what else. Never any consequences for it either, just a "woops" we'll get it right next time. :doodoo: Wait till all these red flag laws start passing, you'll be seeing a lot more JBT's executing people cause their MIL doesn't like them, or like that they own guns or whatever. They will be forcing a new civil war upon America.

Like I said, these red flag laws are the beginnings of an Orwellian nightmare.

Massachusetts Gun Seizure Based on the Word of a Waitress

"A Massachusetts gun seizure raised serious questions about the state law on guns. An 84 year old retired Tisbury cop Stephen Nichols, a Korean War Army veteran, had his guns confiscated based on a part of a conversation he had with a friend at a local restaurant. It was a waitress who turned him in, causing his gun license to be revoked on top of the gun seizure.

The Massachusetts gun seizure

What did he say that got the waitress so worked up? She only heard PART of the conversation. Nichols is or was a crossing guard at the local school. He was criticising the SRO for leaving his post during school hours. Then he said that “someone could shoot up the school while he was gone.” The waitress didn’t listen to the tone of voice or any of the surrounding conversation clues. She called police and reported him as a threat to the school. Nichols was fired...

That seems particularly egregious. Red flag laws vary by state - some have decent due process protections. Looks like MA's doesn't.

GOA to NY Governor: Will You Apply “Red Flag Laws” Equally?

Springfield, VA – Gun Owners of America (GOA) today issued a letter to New York Governor Andrew Cuomo asking whether he will apply New York’s “red flag” law equally to all citizens of the state, including US Senator Charles Schumer, and not just the poor and minority communities.

“GOA opposed the enactment of this [red flag] law, and opposes the enactment of such laws in other states, in part because of our anticipated selective enforcement of this law, applying it to the poor and minorities, while giving a pass to the rich, powerful and politically connected. Your response to this letter will help demonstrate whether our concerns were valid,” GOA’s Senior Vice President Erich Pratt wrote in the letter.

This inquiry is made in light of threats to Supreme Court Justices by Senator Schumer on Supreme Court grounds, which is not only a violation of federal law, but also justification for a red flag order under New York state law.

“If you are serious about the law that you signed, and if you believe that it should apply to the ruling class as well as those ruled, then will the nation soon see reports that you will be directing an appropriate official to seek a red flag order against Senator Schumer?” Pratt asked Gov. Cuomo in the letter.
