I am new here and hope this is the right place to post this.

Dose anyone know anything about Mexican Cinco Peso coins from 1947 and 48? Some of the research I have done suggest that they have somewhere .85 ozs per coin. Does this sound right?

Thanks.

You are proving to be a great source of information. I got these about a decade or more ago while doing some research on early Texas Ranger badges. Put them away and just dug them out when I decided to get into PM.
