I agree. If the price is right, I would buy some. It is a (bad) part of history and has value for that, as well for the silver. I will say that I am a younger guy and don't have many, if any close ties to people in WWII.
I almost lost my coffee when I read that... lol.
Then you are not buying any, sir! I found them on amazon (not hard, just search "nazi silver") and I found one that had a description of .900 silver. I did not find it on the other few that I looked at, and I didn't see any weights listed. Maybe I was looking at the wrong spot  I did not see any illinois nazi silver or silver with satan on it.
by getting all righteous about a mere symbol we create the darkness that is now associated with it.The word "swastika" comes from the Sanskrit svastika - "su" meaning "good," "asti" meaning "to be," and "ka" as a suffix. The swastika literally means "to be good".
That is a very strong assumption. Do I ever think we will go full barter? No, but I have been wrong before. If we hit that situation, "money" wll be "money." Would you not take a $100 bill if it had dirty pictures drawn on it? You wouldn't have to look hard to find someone that would, and they will be $100 richer for it.But the point of stacking it to have trade-able silver.
