DEVELOPING: Mass blackout after substations ‘sabotaged’ in Moore County, North Carolina #Moore l #NC Police confirm several substations have failed as a result of individuals shooting equipment throughout the county. 38,000+ residents remain without power at this time.

story now being reported by (nyc media). antifa/blm getting ready for another terrist campaign?

Heard on news (msm) could be some kind of "protest" against drag queen shows.

FWIW.................

From the link:

WRAL reports that a former US Army psychological operations officer from North Carolina named Emily Grace Rainey posted cryptic messages on social media suggesting she had information behind the attack, claiming "the power is out in Moore County and I know why."

Ms Rainey was at the Capitol on 6 January, 2021 to protest the election, though she was not charged with any crimes relating to the events of that day. Shortly after the power went out, she shared an image of an area theater that was hosting a drag show, along with the caption "Sunrise Theater God will not be mocked."

Mr Fields told reporters during a press conference that they met Ms Rainey at her home and asked her about the attacks, during which she claims she told them that "God works in mysterious ways," and complained about the "immoral drag show" and the "blasphemies screamed by its supporters."

Local liberal news is playing it up as an attack on drag queen story hour. The local senator just compared the incident to 9-11 and the Twin Towers. We like a lot of drama in these parts.

May not be drama. Maybe the real deal. Some interesting stuff in the vid. Take it fwiw.

That was whole lot of Rachel to watch. 😁 Interesting video. Who knows. I have given up trying to figure out much of anything these days. I meet the local NC Proud Boys at one of the school protests. I didn't find them unreasonable.

my first guess was it is some Afghani mujahideen refugee and his cousins that left during the retreat and came to usa for some revenge

some leaky salami at the snack bar shit

FBI agents wearing MAGA hats. Time to start creating the narrative that all MAGA is evil and need to be rounded up and reeducated. Anyone who fails to comply with the roundup mandate will be declared a domestic terrorist and all assets will be seized under civil asset forfeiture laws.

The one thing she said was that no one really knows yet. Haven't heard anything different today.

When I see Rachel all I can hear is her telling us how horrible we are if we don't vaccinate to protect others. Who knows who shoot up the substation. From my limited encounters with The Proud Boys mostly through a friend who is married to one it doesn't seem their style.

Could be wrong, but I'm under the impression the vaccinations are yesterday's news. Kinda gone with the wind.

Today it's power stations, Trump Corporation guilty, D's have 1 more senate seat than R's and Trump saying "It's the end if I'm not crowned king." Ya go to bed with one crisis and when you wake up there's a brand-new crisis to start your day.

Who thinks this is a false flag designed to muck up the newsfeed while the Twitter Files are being released....?

Yep, she's on to newer and bigger lies.
...and everyone should just forget about the old lies.

The jabs were major news for a while. Really don't hear about them in the msm too much anymore. Now the internet is a different story - depends on the sites you visit. Some people enjoy getting caught up in conspiracy theories. Makes em feel like they're on the inside, in the know and part of something bigger than themselves. Kinda like they're in with the in crowd.

Just got the urge to play a tune. Gonna head to the music thread - play The In Crowd by Dobie Gray. Check it out. Great tune.

BTW...........thanks. You made me smile. :)

Neo-Nazis Say Attack Leaving 40,000 Americans in Dark Is Only the Beginning

Story by Tom O'Connor • 1h ago

Amid a long-running campaign by far-right communities threatening to attack the nation's power grid, domestic extremists cheered when two still unattributed shootings at North Carolina substations plunged tens of thousands of people into darkness.

Beyond celebration, however, their comments called for more, bigger attacks targeting critical infrastructure on U.S. soil. Experts told Newsweek that the attack in Moore County, North Carolina, as well as in similar previous attacks across the country, may only be the start of a more destructive campaign.

Prior to Saturday's attacks and in the leadup to the midterm election, Newsweek obtained documents demonstrating dozens of instances of radical groups and individuals sharing threats online against critical infrastructure sites across the nation, along with materials designed to advance such plots. Now, two new reports show how far-right communities, including neo-Nazis, reacted to the most recent sabotage.

Last I heard they had no idea who did it. Has that changed? Let no good crisis go to waste.

Ok, someone needs to Photoshop that Abercrombie & FiB photo to add the MAGA hats. Thanks.

Judging by the street signs (full of holes) and empty Busch Light cans around here I'm surprised they don't hit things like transformers a little more often.

Because those lies served their purposes, and they'd rather we all forget what was those lies were.

'Part of war is terror': A new neo-Nazi group is trying to capitalize on the Moore County power grid attack

Story by Jordan Green, Investigative Reporter • Yesterday 2:33 PM

An offshoot of the now-defunct neo-Nazi terror group Atomwaffen Division is undertaking a propaganda push related to the attack on the power grid earlier this month in Moore County that resulted in widespread power outages affecting about 40,000 customers.

The morning after the power grid attack, which coincided with a protest against a drag show in Southern Pines, neo-Nazi accelerationists on a private Telegram channel began to speculate about the involvement of the National Socialist Resistance movement, or NSRF.

The contents of the chats in the “Uncle Ted’s Cabin” channel — named in honor of the anarcho-primitivist terrorist Ted Kaczynski — were obtained by an infiltrator, who leaked them to the White Rose Society, a volunteer research collective in Australia. The chats, which cover a period from early November through Dec. 9, were provided exclusively to Raw Story. Antifascist researchers in North Carolina who tweet under the @arelephanteau and @M1523751 accounts also helped corroborate information and develop reporting for this story.

Judge revokes bond and seizes devices from defendants awaiting sentencing in neo-Nazi terror plot

Story by Jordan Green, Investigative Reporter • Yeste

A federal judge has revoked bond for two men awaiting sentencing for their role in a white supremacist terror plot to attack the national power grid.

Christopher Brenner Cook, Jonathan Allen Frost and Jackson Matthew Sawall each pleaded guilty to conspiring to provide material support for terrorists earlier this year. According to the government, the three men, who called themselves “the Front,” used encrypted apps when they hatched a plan to user powerful rifles to shoot out transformers at regional substations, with the aim of causing confusion and unrest that they hoped would give rise to a race war. Among other texts, group members circulated Siege, a text widely embraced by accelerationist neo-Nazis that advocates for societal collapse as a necessary precondition for fascist revolution.

As a measure of their commitment, Sawall and Cook mutually pledged to give their lives for the cause, and according to the government, Frost made “suicide necklaces” filled with fentanyl for the three men. Sawall swallowed his necklace during a traffic stop in Columbus, Ohio, according to court filings, but survived.
