Billionaire Dan Pena reveals that all the money pledged to impoverished countries “gets stolen”

He says the wealthiest countries get together every year, “They pledge between $100-$500 million. How much money has been given (to those in need)? $0.”

“We could solve poverty in the entire world with the stroke of a pen. And you know why they don't do that in Africa, Ethiopia, wherever? Because of corruption”

“it's because of the c word, corruption, but nobody talks about it. Nobody talks about it. Everybody knows it, but nobody talks about it”

“Almost none of the money's gonna get down to where it belongs.

BREAKING: USAID Senior Officials put on Leave after Physically Trying to stop DOGE from accessing Agency Systems

Two USAID officials, John Voorhees and his deputy, were put on leave late Saturday night after refusing to allow DOGE members access to USAID systems. The DOGE members threatened to physically call the police after being refused entry. They were trying to access the security and personnel files.

Federal Officials are concerned that Trump is trying to fold USAID into the US State Department in an effort to cut Government corruption and bloat.

USAID employs approx. 10,000 people, excluding contractors, with 2/3 of them overseas. 60 USAID members were already put on leave last week after trying to circumvent President Trump’s executive order on stopping foreign aid.

All the money being funneled from Ukraine. Once again correct but what not yet confirmed is the flow of money into politicians bank accounts/offshore shell companies or pacs.

by Tyler Durden
Sunday, Feb 02, 2025

Update (10:20pm ET): Just hours after Trump unveiled double-digit tariffs on the three largest US trading partners, Canada and Mexico announced their own plans for retaliatory tariffs on the US. Outgoing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said late on Saturday that Canada will respond by placing 25% counter-tariffs on C$155 billion ($107 billion) worth of American-made products, with items including beer, wine, bourbon, fruits, fruit juices, vegetables, clothes, perfume, household appliances, plastic, and lumber subject to tariffs. Hilariously, Canada is going especially hard after alcohol produced in Republican states...

Anyone planning a summer vacation to a destination in Canada or Mexico?
Nah, me neither.

So now we are boxed in with 10,000 troops on both borders.
(Inigo Montoya voice) Is that a lot? I don't think that number is the huge mass you think it means.
Maybe if each troop had control of a string of ten claymores and excellent optics of the border...
Of course, it would only be fair to post signs warning that the border is dangerously unsafe because of unexploded munitions.

^^ That post has a community note attached indicating that the claims are sourced from a parody account (ie. it's made up BS).
