I have several single PM items that I really like. This has been a tough choice but below is my favorite.

I've always liked these Scottsdale Mint stackers but the detail in these 2 oz rounds is just astonishing.

Lets have some fun here. Post up your single favorite item

GIM Freedom Round which was a gift from Andial after my account was deactivated. Guess S didn't care for me deleting over 100 thousand of my own posts. lmao He got may mailing address from my evil twin who was known as "notspeedoo."

I like these alot too. I have the full set of 3, I have 3 of each. (I think there were only 3) I bought mine from someone on GIM2 but cant exactly remember who? Gave most of them away as gifts.

For me, my first was and will always be my sweetheart. It was a 4 ducat, almost certainly a restrike. As a kid, $80 was a huge chunk, but I loved that thing in every way a kid could. I sold it for about double for photography equipment and never saw its beauty again.

Maybe when I exchanged 1 oz Eagles for 1/10 some years back, I might have opted for 1/9 ounce 1 ducat coins. Trading them would be more cautious on the buyer, but I would look at them as angels on earth any time I wished.
 
I dont have a picture handy but my fav are St Gaudens double eagles .... wish i had one of the high reliefs for fun

yep a boring pick ..... and not the most intresting but a great coin

added a intresting picture just because pictures are fun LOL

I'm with you ...I have a couple St Gaudens. I think it's my wife's favorite.

Its part of a 5 coin boxed set ... from Pobjoy Mint in england .... the denomination is " 1 angel" i think .... pretty sure its a Isle of Man coin...it does have paperwork with it but its in deep storage currently i wouldnt know a guinea if i saw it LOL

i would have a heart attack too if i found one in the wild LOL

Yep, a fairly late Spade Guinea. I wanted a circulated Guinea with honest wear from passing through so many hands. It's never been graded or sealed in plastic and as long as I own it it never will. I like feeling it in my hands.

thats how i am with mexican centenarios ....big coins...no worries with handling them .......just not near the age you have on that Guinea

There is something REAL about having a pocket coin, old & precious. Yaaa,... its gotta have some wear, just as a reminder that our COINS once had actual value, that changed hands often, unlike this clad zinc that passes for change these days. Even a handful of it is practically worthless. Probably most of us old-timers lived though a time when our change could buy merchandise. I remember buying .22 ammo for .50¢, filled our minibike with gas for a quarter, A dime for baseball cards that included some gum, comic books, records, .75¢ for lunch at the Walgreens diner and that included a Nickle for a tip to the cute waitress.....and she was happy to get it, going to the local hardware store and buying plumbing fittings, screws, bolts, nuts, and a huge assortment of stuff,.... for small change.

I can't imagine what that Guinea would buy or the many many transactions it was involved in. Or even those Indian $5 or $10 gold pieces. It was fairly common for people to carry around a silver dollar, mostly Morgans, as a novelty but also in case you needed to buy something,......because back then a dollar COULD buy something. My Dad always carried a silver dollar and when it was time to flip a coin for something he was the always first to whip out his Morgan dollar. And when he flipped it he made it ring as it sailed through the air. He almost always caught it and showed it as heads or tails, but on occasion he'd drop it and it would ring as it hit the deck. We livED in interesting times. And, it is good, that our little obsession reminds us all, how lucky we were to have lived when we did.

In Idaho, where I spent my adolescence, spending a five dollar bill for something costing a dollar or two I was always pissed when I got silver dollars back in change. They were just an annoying bulge in my pants pockets. (Oh if I had only known).
There was always an abundant supply of them because Nevada was next door and we seemed to snag a lot of the tourist change from slots gambling (back in that day the used REAL coins).

That reminds me. Me and my youngest sister spent a month in Las Vegas in 1970. My grandmother lived there. The only casino we were allowed in was Circus Circus. I was shocked to see so many silver dollars everywhere. I remember trading a 5 dollar bill for 5 silver dollars with my grandma. 4 of them went in "the jar" when we got home but I kept one, the only Peace dollar of the 5. I lost it when I was 15 or 16.
