Well, I just watched silver drop sixty cents in about five minutes time, while gold cratered at exactly the same time. Naturally, the SEC will have been busy watching midget porn, missing the whole thing. This was coordinated and purposeful working of the paper market, nothing more and nothing less.

I swear I cannot wait until the whole fucking thing crumbles to the ground.
 
protest gas stations in NJ/NY/PA charging $8-$9 a gallon over what they claim is unfair pricing.

It could be that "someone" had some inside skinny on Bernanke and his speech today, so they did some preemptive damage control as indicated in another thread by someone. perhaps they were taken down lower so shorts would have some room when they covered?
