Todays website:
http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/

This is a numismatics focused website, but one of the best places if you have a question about the more obscure coins you across.

I do not remember who posted about this analyst originally, but I am loving this guy's daily blog on the markets and precious metals:

I listened to an interview of Harvey w Chris Martenson. I also saw the video of him at the CFTC hearing a while back. I dont spend a lot of time on the whole manipulation area but apparently there are people in the metal community that think Harvey doesnt really understand the mkts well. Was some giant thread on Chris Martenson's website, apparently many people think his arguments didnt make sense.

I did think it was odd that his was at the CFTC hearing and he could hardly get out sentences to explain what he was talking about.

Interesting, I don't read his predictions much. I simply use his blog as a source of data.

People interested in security in general should have this site on their lists.
http://www.schneier.com/
Originally about crypto, but it's broadened out in the past few years. Some of the posters on this site are "heavy hitters".

I love the idea of thinking about everything priced in units of gold:
http://pricedingold.com/

Take a look at this guy's half life curve of USD price in grams of gold.

Todays find:
http://www.mybudget360.com/

A website on how to run your personal budget, but it also looks at things such as inflation, true unemployment, and many other things usually ignored by such sites.

I may or may not have posted this before, but I always find something good to read on http://theautomaticearth.org/Front-Page.html

Stoneleigh and Ilargi offer up commentary on the state of the earth, talking about everything under the sun. More recently they have had some very well written pieces on the Europe problem.
rblong2us and benjamen like this.

the best site hands down for econonmic, enviromental, overpopulation, peak oil, pestilence, war and geopolitics, and a thousand other topics. Very closely following climate change, which will become VERY VERY obvious to everyone soon. All economic models out the window. by invitation only:

fair comment Jay.
Its just that we all either came via ZH or monitor it closely anyway ....

Just seemed too obvious to mention but any browsers / newbies may not have made this connection.
