Saturday Rant...

Well, my aggravation meter just pegged again. For the life of me, I can’t understand why I haven’t had a fatal stroke yet, but there may be a higher purpose for me so I’ll just wait it out I guess. Again and again I am infuriated by the Mainstream Media and their complete contempt for facts and truth. Reading any of the major outlets is simply an exercise in government indoctrination on a level previously unseen in our entire existence. History is replete with instances of government cover-ups, lies, false flags and witch hunts, but never before has the effort been so widely subscribed and so completely inclusive of nearly every media outlet. Just today, I read about the on-going destruction of the Murdock Empire, purportedly about wiretapping, bribes and so forth, but in reality about the political views of the owner, a staunch conservative. This is a thinly veiled attack on one of the few remaining above ground conservative mainstream news providers and it is absolutely magnificent in its purity of form and depth of intimidation.

The Boss subjected me to an hour worth of Whitney Houston funeral coverage this morning, completely preempting my own program [how it’s made] with tribute after tribute for this woman. Don’t get me wrong, her music was largely very, very good, and she had a number of outstanding numbers that would give me chills when they were played, but I think there are more important things to lower our flags to half-mast for than a drug addled has-been performer with a long and sordid romance with a crack pipe and booze bottle. I had a half hour discussion with my daughter last night, explaining why I was so negative about all of the coverage regarding Houston and her death. I told her that to deify an individual without examining all aspects of that person was wrong. Did she sing well? Yes, at one time she was magnificent and in a class of her own. Did she completely fuck up her life by marrying a rap thug with a violent drug-fuelled lifestyle? Yes. All of the people who surrounded her while she was rich and famous are as much to blame for her death as the doctors who knew all about her very public battle with crack cocaine and alcohol, yet no one stopped her. I would rather my daughter look up to any of the thousands of people who get up every single day, go to work, lead a smart, clean life and are able to not only take care of themselves, but ask nothing from the state. I have more respect for those folks than I do for a spoiled multi-millionaire singer who pissed it all away on crack cocaine and a low-life scum thug from the ghetto.

I want to thank the MSM for distracting me just in time once again. Your 72 hours of constant coverage of Whitney Houston and everyone and anyone who has ever been within three feet of her, I have not been able to think about any of the other inconsequential happenings in the world, allowing me to stop worrying for more than five minutes. Little things like the collapse of Greece, and the epic fallout that comes with a default these days. Little shit like trillions of dollars in un-payable credit default swaps. Boring things like millions of Greeks sentenced to two generations of debt slavery to the very banks who caused all of their woes in the first place. I want to extend an additional thanks to the MSM for making me forget about Fukushima for a while. Remember Fukushima? It was just about a year ago that a tsunami washed away a thousand square miles of Japan and destroyed five nuclear reactors in the process. That on-going holocaust is still an earthquake away from creating a hundred thousand square mile no-go zone, when the reactor 4 spent fuel pool collapses and hundreds of tons of fuel rods are no longer contained, but jumbled in a huge pile, free to begin reacting and melting down in to a pile of plutonium sludge a few meters from the ocean. The mainstream media has simply stopped publishing anything at all about he mutations, deaths, and cancers in Japan, or anything that casts a negative light on nuclear power [remember? Too cheap to meter]. The Brotherhood of Darkness has locked them up tighter than a frogs ass.

I am so completely angry about the state of the world that I hope it all comes crashing down in a giant smoking heap of fucking destruction. The only way to regain our freedom now is through destruction of the old one. I do not mean some piecemeal pussified bullshit either, I mean complete destruction of the status quo. Until the power is ripped from their soulless being, and until the elites are no longer able to wield their power, nothing can change.

When I see discussion about food police frightening the shit out of little kids and forcing them to eat processed fried chicken slugs, instead of the salami and cheese sandwich mommy packed them, I want to go all baseball bat on someone. When did this shit start anyway?!?!? How about handcuffing and arresting a little girl because she sprayed a puff of perfume on herself after class bullies taunted her and said “you stink”? Really?? We have devolved from a nation of people responsible for themselves and their children, in to a slobbering bunch of fucking weaklings who need to be told their every move by their benevolent nanny, Uncle Sugar. When exactly in the hell did the government become our parents? Who gave them the right to tell me what to feed my kids? Why are we arresting kids in school for stupid shit that only merits a detention, and then only maybe?

When I contemplate my role in society, I find myself increasingly aware that I am one of but a few remaining people who think entirely for themselves, able to identify right from wrong, make decisions based upon objective thought and reality based observation. More and more, I find myself in situations where I actually have to defend myself from those who would accuse me of being unpatriotic, for wanting the government to stay the fuck out of my business and the life of my daughter. There are many folks in my life who are the product of an entire career within the construct of a federal employee union, many of whom have been taught that critical thinking is not only un-patriotic, but in some ways nearly seditious. I shit you not folks, the most dangerous group or people in our country are the ones who think our government is the end-all be-all for all of our ills, and who believe we should raise taxes and use the money to “take care of people”. We should be very afraid folks, because these people are slowly becoming a majority in this country, and if they have their way, we will become the police state Nazi Germany became upon the rise of Hitler.

I read a piece that curdled my blood yesterday, and I’m not sure exactly how to react, or feel, or whatever because it enraged me to the point of walking away for a while. The article discussed how Michelle Obama, the wife of the Chicago Jesus, is going on a “much needed ski vacation” to Aspen Colorado for a couple of weeks. This is the same broad who decided to fly to Hawaii around Christmas time, irrespective of the extra cost incurred for separate spousal travel, because after all, she is the President’s Wife, Right? This, by the way, it the same selfish bitch who did a Spanish blast, African safari, Martha’s Vineyard expedition with and without her spouse, but at great cost to the average struggling proletariat, who pays through the nose for extra security, Air Force Two, jet fuel, venue vetting and security sweeps, local costs for protection and traffic control……the list goes on and on. This fucking troll has no visible empathy for you and I, just a seething contempt for those who do not recognize her as the Queen of America. Can anyone remember any previous presidents wife acting so callously toward the common man during what is arguably the most difficult economic time s since the Great Depression? The arrogance of this……..[I want to call her the “C” word, but will refrain], Bitch? What is this woman thinking about? It sure as hell isn’t about you and I. It certainly isn’t about the proposed tax increases her beloved spouse want’s to unleash on fifty million [previously] middle class folks who can ill afford new taxes in the face of reduced hours, benefits and job security.

Folks, we are at a crossroads here, and this election is one of the most important in our history. People will look back on this election and teach their children [either way; for good or for bad] about the repercussions of what we decide as a nation this November, and I pray the lesson is about what can happen when a nation so despises the road their government is taking that they use the ballot box to effect the changes necessary to insure the survival of their Republic.

We can only hope……………

Sorry for the rant.

Forgive me for playing devil's advocate about the First Lady, but all politics aside. I thought she made enough money before she was the President's wife or a Senator's wife to be able to buy trips like that on her own dime anyway. I mean, she was the bread winner in the house before Obama hit it big. A lawyer or something right?

Anyway, to everything else you said. Yeah, I agree. The world is going to complete shit.

Yes, yes, these types of activities have made the move from "conspiracy theory" to "in-your-face theory".

Yeah, she made some bank all right, but she spends tax money when travelling. If she was going once or twice a year, it would pass without notice, but this woman has taken more vacations than any first lady in history, and she has done so as the general population suffers through tho worst period of economic collapse since the Depression.

She is a do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do woman, who tells us to eat our spinach, then serves a four thousand calorie gut buster at a white house party a week later. Remember the Obama speech about "shared sacrifice"? I do, but apparently The Queen of America" does not think it applies to her.

Hey ancona!

At least the weather has been nice here in Florida! All in all, a pretty decent winter after all (at least so far), barring that one ugly cold snap!

COMPLETELY AGREE with your post. The State Run Media is mostly a lying machine for the Socialists.

EDIT:

Having re-read your post, I think you need to do the below:

1) buy gold tomorrow. Write that down NOW to remind yourself! Just writing the promise will make you feel a little better.

2) get your biggest cannon out and fire 100 rounds at the range. Ask them if they have "Michelle" targets, (well maybe not THAT).

3) When you get back from the range, have a shower, hug the wife and kid(s) and crack open a cold one!

4) Drink that beer while reading my new blog piece (I examine Tatyana's column on TUNGSTEN, among other things)!

DON'T watch any TV except, maybe, sports for the rest of the day!

Actually, as soon as little ancona gets back from youth group at the church, we're going to teh Melbourne Auditorium to visit the gun show. I intend to load up on some more cheap 7.62 X 39 for the 'ol SKS, and some 9mm Parabellum and 9mm Makarov.

We spend a good little bit of time at our range, and even though blasting a couple or three hundred rounds is expensive, it is really the only thing we spend much money on, aside from the occasional pizza delivery or something. I find that writing down my aggravations is quite cathartic all by itself, because when I do post my rants, I seem to get a lot of support. Knowing that I am not the only one out there who is as enraged about the machine as I am, helps a lot.

In addition, all of the lurkers out there may just pick up a little education for their trouble. After all, if they read enough and are able to understand what is actually happenning through the fog of government obfuscation, they may just step up and get on the bandwagon so to speak.

Ahh! The gun show is an acceptable substitute for shooting.

Balance, after all, is important! Just ask any guy who does Tai Chi...

Just got back from the show. Little Ancona and her cohort walked away with some neat T-shirts, and dad walked out with 1,000 rds of 7.62 and 20 more stripper clips. I saw the elusive 416 Rigby I dream of owning [Don't ask me why....I just do] and some really nice 270'S. Anyhow, my aggravation meter is now only at 60%. I want to thank the show promoters!

I have probably the same kind of longing for a .338 Lapua:

onlylongrange.com

That's the gun Chris Kyle used at the end of his sniping career in Iraq (check out his book American Sniper, just out. He took out over 150 Johnny Mohammeds over there, he took down more than any other American sniper in our history.

When the media circus promotes stories of little consequence to anyone - E! style mastubatory entertainment if you will - it serves to reassure people that there isn't anything more important happening in the world. All is well.

PMBug,
When you look at any weekly TV guide, and try to list the programs that are actually truthful and informative, you will be hard pressed to find even a single one. Television has become, for all intents and purposes, obsolete. Just like the printed newspapers, it is all subjective reporting these days, no more "just the facts ma'am". I dare you to find an honest objective reporter. To be quite frank about it, the closest I could find was the Christian Science monitor and Al Jazeera. Although the views on both of those media sources is probably just as suspect as the MSM.

Funny you should mention that, ancona. I've found some decent stories and documentaries on Al Jazeera and RT. They're obviously still nothing perfect, but sometimes better than the fox/nbc/abc/cbs junk.

PMBug, that image should also include "acquire debt" somewhere in it, although "buy" and "consume" sort of imply it.
