Malaysian man sells AI.com domain for $70m after purchasing for just $100 3 decades ago

A Malaysian tech entrepreneur turned a $100 purchase into a roughly $70 million deal thanks to a decision made decades ago.

Arsyan Ismail closed the $70 million, approximately RM276 million deal with Crypto.com for the sale of the highly coveted web address AI.com in April 2025.
