Glock 42 and 26 are transformed. PM me if you have a 26. The base plate swap is not linear.

transformed into what? You added +2 round capacity to the magazine?

Yes and it helps with the grip.

Aha. So you are swapping out the grip to accommodate a larger magazine? Does the modification cause any (increased) issues with feeding/chambering (rounds getting stuck)? Is that a different trigger assembly too?

my pinkie felt left out, lost, despondent... until i gave it a safe place to engage itself

it felt so much better afterwards

. . .

iirc, follow the instructions, it's been so long...yet i still know where the paperwork is, it's just not right here, a bit of angle this and push that...but it wasn't difficult to the point i was throwing anything across the room

it was a nice addition rather than that 30 rounder sticking out...that thing makes horizontal shooting, with both hands, a bit tougher

...just wow...try to find a horizontal shooing photo through a 'regular search', including the duck...

oh well, i've still got some steady income coming in from somewhere...i think

I kept the original mag springs. You can upgrade to + 10% units, but it's not necessary with Glock.

I have also used 15rd G19 mags with the sleeve in the G26, but it did not shoot as accurately. There must be a winning formula where the grip should not be longer than the slide.

When I had a 27 I liked the +1 pinky extension, let me get a good grip & increased mag capacity to 10. I carry a 23 now. My backup mag is for a 22 with the X-adapter so there isn't that funky space. Sometimes I'll carry with a 22mag w/ the adapter as well, but not as much lately.
