I served in the Navy with the fruits.
I can't begin to describe how disruptive they are.
First of all, they're pussies - spoiled, self-absorbed. They're usually little children. The military is not for little children, even when not in combat.
Second, everything is about sex to them. One swish we had on an aircraft carrier - a boot-camp, first command - would LOOK for likely contacts. I was in the Weight-Control program, and that meant a lunchtime muster-up on the hangar deck (in-port) to do laps. Then, of course, a shower before I'd get back to my office cubicle.
Seaman-Recruit Swish would WAIT for me to head to the head, and would go in and take his shower. For no reason other than to advertise that he wanted action. Eight showers in a row, and he'd be right next to me, and give me coquettish talk.
That same disrupter later tried to frame another guy from our division, for rape. It was untrue and forensic evidence proved the defense. But unfortunately the victim in this, had made enemies - and the DivO and LPO wanted him to go down. The command, and NIS, banked that it was true; and they stuck with the fake accusation until the day before court-martial, when they withdrew charges. By that time, the frame-ee had a civilian lawyer trained in the UCMJ.
He spent tens of thousands of $$$$$ defending himself, and I nearly got NJP, because this ladyboy wanted to be noticed. I cannot IMAGINE what it's like, now. My division had guys off tenders, where there were females, and co-ed crews were disruptive enough (I have a few stories on THAT...)
Get this crap OUT of the service. Actually, now that they've taken the plunge, trying to up-end and destroy our culture, I'd be in favor of criminalizing sodomy and advocating homosexual behavior.
