This one is an opinion piece. Thought it was pretty good, but then again.........I'm a lefty (lol) so take it for what it's worth.

America’s Becoming a Suicide Pact

Right about now, America’s Red States are fast on their way to becoming…dystopias. “Open carry” laws have led to dramatic…wait for it…open…violence. Women are second class citizens. Basic freedoms are going up in smoke. Teachers are criminalized. Kids are demonized. The LGBTQ are smeared as groomers — and then attacked legislatively. Books, banned.

The fanatics have taken over.

What does the future hold for America’s Red States? I won’t mince words, it’s not going to be pretty, and it’s a warning to the world. A world which is turning to its own Red-State-America-style demagogues and fanatics for a measure of security in a troubled world. It’s — emphatically — not worth it.

I have read this article and am posting this summary to save others from wasting their time slogging though this emotional screed. This article seems to be an hysterical reaction to the fact that people in red states are starting to push back against an increasingly radical left wing democrat agenda. The author relies on the usual left wing lies and half truths.

He asserts the following points:

Guns are evil, and law abiding gun owners in red states are somehow, without explanation, to blame for an increase in blue state violence.

Red states that suggest that perhaps there should be limits on women murdering their unborn children is indicative of an incipient Republican desire to enslave women and bring "The Handmaid's Tale" to life.

Basic rights (undefined) are "going up in smoke" in some terrifying but unexplained way

Teachers are "criminalized" by not being allowed to teach children using books in that contain detailed and explicit descriptions of sex. i.e. pornography.

Calling those who try to sexualize and groom children for pedophiles "groomers" is a libel against the LGBTQIA+++ community.

Limiting sexually explicit shows and parades to adults only is "a malicious attempt to remove LGBTQ people from public life"

Removing sexually explicit books from school libraries is "book banning".

He repeats the sibboleth that the blue states are financing and subsidizing the red states. He claims that red states are "broke" and draining the lifeblood of the prosperous blue states in a terrifying spiral of economic collapse. (This is essentially lying with statistics. In fact, blue states get more back from the feds per capita than the red states, with blue states getting $2,124 per resident while red states receive just $1,879 on average.)

He then insists that red states are "broke" due to "capital flight" as unnamed corporations flee red states for fear that their gay executives will be persecuted by imaginary Red state inquisitors, or that the CEO will be spotted "reading the wrong book" and then the company will be attacked.

He claims investors are fearful that red state tyrants will destroy their investments leading to a worsening economic spiral. He also seems to conflate government spending with a healthy economy.

The whole article is histrionics and the usual effort to accuse the opposition of what you yourself are doing.

It's obviously a call for the Biden-Puppetmaster Administration to take matters into its own hands.

Because there's real danger afoot. Danger that we, meaning Leftists, can't get our WHO Medical Tyranny and Depopulation programs installed without some risks to our own precious bodies.

Yep, straight out of the commie playbook written by Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals.
