Here's the manifesto unrolled on X

Audrey Hale’s manifesto was quietly released 2 years after the Covenant shooting, and hasn’t got much coverage. In it, she constantly talks about hating life and being born wrong. She even says “my only true motivation = mass suicide.” Trans people shouldn’t have guns.

Yes, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department's investigative summary and statements from Audrey Hale's parents, she used leftover funds from federal student grants—including Pell Grants awarded during her time at Nossi College of Art—to purchase at least two firearms after covering educational costs: a KelTec Sub 2000 9mm carbine on April 16, 2021, and a Mossberg Shockwave 12-gauge shotgun on June 11, 2021.

Other guns were funded through student loans, pet-sitting earnings, or family gifts, but her parents explicitly told police that Hale became eligible for independent federal aid after turning 25, and "it was the grant money" used for firearms since she had no other income.

Journal entries released by the FBI further support this by listing Pell Grant disbursements (e.g., "$2,656.87 (x3 checks from Nossi)") alongside planned weapon acquisitions.
