‘You are next’: online posts show Islamic State interest in attacks on US ahead of election​

After the FBI arrested an Afghan man in Oklahoma planning an election day shooting on behalf of the Islamic State, the terrorist organization re-entered what has become one of the most chaotic news cycles leading up to a November vote.

Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, of Oklahoma City admitted to investigators he and a co-conspirator expected to die as IS martyrs as they opened fire on crowds on election day, according to charging documents.

Warnings about IS-sponsored or -inspired attacks in the west have intensified in recent weeks.

In a statement on the Tawhedi case, the US attorney general, Merrick Garland, remarked there was a continuing need to “combat the ongoing threat that [IS] and its supporters pose to America’s national security”. Ken McCallum, the head of MI5, the UK’s domestic intelligence service, described how his agency had “one hell of a job” managing the threat of the resurgent terrorist organization.

This search, initiated in response to the targeted killing of IRGC’s Terrorist commander Qasem Soleimani in a 2020 drone strike, underscores a chilling narrative of retribution that risks destabilizing not just diplomatic relations but the very fabric of international peace and security.

The Islamic Republic’s sleeper cells within the U.S. have been a significant concern for the FBI. Iran’s regime has aimed to target individuals close to Trump, including Brian Hook, Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, Gina Haspel, and Trump himself, as retaliation for Soleimani’s death. It’s uncertain whether Iran utilizes terrorist proxy forces or directly commands operations on U.S. soil, but the FBI closely monitors charities, religious centers, schools, & medical centers linked to Tehran.

Hope I'm wrong but I think that sooner or later we'll pay a price here for the shit we've visited upon other lands.

China is preparing a direct attack to destroy America​

There has been a marked increase in Chinese nationals attempting to enter American military facilities in recent years. This month, federal authorities announced that they had charged five for allegedly misleading investigators and conspiring to clear their phones after they had been confronted in the dark near Michigan’s remote Camp Grayling in August 2023. Last year, it was reported that Chinese citizens intruded into the Army’s Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. There, they drove past a base gate and were later apprehended with a drone inside their car. In 2020, several Chinese nationals were sentenced for illegally surveilling the naval air station in Key West, Florida.

But the problem could get considerably worse. “Tens of thousands of military-age men have come across our border and are now in America,” Blaine Holt, a retired Air Force general, told me in February. Among them, he believes, will be state actors, including from China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA).

Indeed, representative Mark Green (R-Tenn), chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said at a press conference in June last year that, based on his conversation with a Border Patrol sector chief, some of the Chinese migrants at the southern border have “known ties to the PLA”. “We have no idea who these people are, and it’s very likely, using Russia’s template of sending military personnel into Ukraine, China is doing the same into the United States,” said Green.

Extremists posing as aid workers urge NC locals to tear down cell towers and hit military​

Agroup of anti-government extremists who showed up in western North Carolina promising to provide disaster relief after Hurricane Helene is now threatening to destroy cell-phone towers and sabotage military vehicles.

The group, Veterans on Patrol, attracted attention by setting up a disaster relief staging area in the parking lot of the Ingles grocery store in Lake Lure, about 50 miles from Asheville.

But locals, including some who initially cooperated with the group, began to complain about threats and harassment.

Over the past three weeks, members of the group, which falsely claims that Helene was caused by a “weather weapon,” have been making conspiracy-driven claims that the U.S. military is attempting to kill U.S. citizens with “directed energy weapons.”

Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark were fatally shot in their Brooklyn Park home. Sen. John Hoffman and his wife were shot in their Champlin home. Officials say they are out of surgery and are recovering. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said they're cautiously optimistic they'll survive.

You aren't going to like this post, but it needs to be said about Vance Bolter.

At first, I assumed Vance Boelter was just another grifter in the NGO/activist space. He built a fake resume, floated around volunteer gigs, and set up shell organizations for clout. His "Red Lion Group" has no real paper trail. His side business in "security services" looks like a cash grab.

But the more I dug, the more different it looks.

Boelter was a 7/11 manager, but constantly promoted himself as a corporate executive. He claims the title "Dr." based on a Ed.D. in Leadership. He chased every opportunity to get in front of an audience: volunteering for Governor Walz's "Workforce Development" initiatives, speaking at conferences, anything to be seen as a leader.

And in videos of him in African churches, you see him light up. He's performing. He's preaching vague, positive platitudes to foreign audiences. He wanted to be somebody. He wanted to be followed.

There's good reason to believe that

is right... he was remodeling that building below into a church. Not to serve Jesus, but as a stage for an audience that would never come.

I think he is a man addicted to attention and status, who tried to get it through a lot of means. And when that attention dried up (possibly whoever cut him off his funding in Congo), he snapped.

I believe Vance Boelter committed violence as a last, desperate attempt to be glorified: under the delusion that killing abortion rights activists would make him a martyr or hero.

This is not Christianity. I watched his sermons. They were designed to provoke emotional applause, not spiritual conviction.

His actions contradict the standard Jesus gave us to recognize false prophets:

"By their fruits you will know them." – Matthew 7:15–20

Boelter bore no good fruit. Just narcissism, manipulation, and ultimately violence. He wasn't an evangelical or MAGA. He was a man who couldn't stand being ordinary.

Minnesota investigators have recovered a handwritten, 1.5-page letter in which Vance Luther Boelter—the 57-year-old accused of killing former state House Speaker Emerita Melissa Hortman and her husband and wounding State Senator John Hoffman and his wife—claims Governor Tim Walzinstructed him to assassinate U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar so the governor could seek her seat. Two people familiar with the document told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that the note, addressed to FBI Director Kash Patel and found in a Buick Boelter abandoned while fleeing police, is rambling and conspiratorial but contains a direct confession to last week’s shootings.

Federal prosecutors say the letter was left alongside other evidence linking Boelter to the attacks, which authorities have described as a politically motivated assassination. Boelter, who once served on a workforce development board appointed by Walz, faces two federal counts of stalking, two counts of murder, and firearms violations, as well as state murder charges; he is being held without bail ahead of a June 27 court appearance. A separate notebook found in Boelter’s vehicle listed dozens of additional potential targets.

Officials caution that Boelter’s allegations about Walz remain unsubstantiated. “We have seen no evidence that the allegations regarding Governor Walz are based in fact,” a spokesperson for the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office said. Walz’s office called the shootings “deeply disturbing” and thanked law-enforcement officers for the arrest, while Klobuchar said she was grateful the suspect was in custody. Investigators continue to examine Boelter’s writings and electronics to determine his motive and whether anyone else was involved.

Sleeper Cells Becoming Major Concern as Conflict with Iran Looms​

The FBI under Director Kash Patel is increasingly vigilant against the possibility that sleeper cells -- operatives who remain quiet in a target country until ordered into activity -- will engage in attacks within the United States, CBS News reported Thursday.

This tells me we should stop obeying isreal and remain neutral in this war. Of course that would piss off the israeli sleeper cells and they would bomb us instead...decisions, decisions.
