ICE Agents Pepper-Spray 1-Year-Old During Family’s Grocery Trip, Father Hospitalized

In a shocking clip circulating on social media, an incident shows the moment Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents pepper-sprayed a 1-year-old girl during a family grocery trip in Illinois. The incident took place near the Cicero Sam’s Club parking lot, leaving baby Arinna gasping for air.

Her father, Rafael Veraza, described the scary situation. Veraza said he, his wife, and daughter were in their car when federal agents sprayed pepper spray into the vehicle, striking him in the head and exposing his baby to the chemicals. The officers arrived in a black truck and sprayed from the rolled-down window on the side.

Another clip showed Rafael Veraza and his wife standing in front of their parked car while holding Arinna, crying for help. It was a terrifying moment for the baby, who could have suffered fatal injuries due to the spray for life. The main component of pepper spray is an oil known as oleoresin capsicum.

Well, if they weren't in our country illegally, they wouldn't get sprayed.
They need to go back whence they came and try to improve their own country instead of being a burden on ours.

I was under the impression he was an American citizen but really didn't know so I asked Grok. Here's the reply:

No, Rafael Veraza is not an American citizen.

Rafael Veraza is a resident of Berwyn, Illinois, a suburb near Chicago's Little Village neighborhood, which has a large Mexican immigrant population. On November 8, 2025, he and his family were caught in a federal immigration raid (Operation Midway Blitz) by U.S. Border Patrol and ICE agents in a Sam's Club parking lot in Cicero, Illinois. They were pepper-sprayed while trying to leave the area after noticing the agents' presence, with Veraza's 1-year-old daughter, Ariana, also affected and hospitalized for treatment.

This incident happened amid a broader immigration crackdown targeting undocumented immigrants in the area, where federal agents were enforcing operations against non-citizens. Reports, including from ABC7 Chicago, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the Associated Press, describe Veraza and his family as bystanders who were not protesting or involved in any enforcement action but were impacted by crowd control measures. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) disputed the use of pepper spray in the parking lot, citing attacks on agents elsewhere, but provided no details on why the family was targeted.

No sources indicate Veraza holds U.S. citizenship; his presence in a high-enforcement immigration zone and the context of the raid suggest he is an immigrant, likely undocumented or with a temporary status, though exact details are not publicly confirmed. He has since spoken out publicly with community leaders about the incident.

The article didn't mention this

If the Chicago PD would turn illegals over to ICE as they encountered them, ICE wouldn't be forced to conduct these street operations.

Chicago leadership is more concerned about protecting illegals than the Americans in their city who are supposed to be their primary concern.

Trump says United States doesn’t have talented people to fill jobs domestically

President Donald Trump told Fox News in an interview that aired Tuesday night the United States doesn’t have talented workers to fill jobs needed domestically, defending the H1-B skilled worker visa program.

Pressed by Fox News’ Laura Ingraham on whether his administration would reduce H1-B visas over concerns it would depress wages for American workers, Trump told Ingraham, “I agree — but you also do have to bring in talent.”

When the Fox host responded, “We have plenty of talented people here,” Trump replied, “No, you don’t, no you don’t … you don’t have certain talents, and people have to learn. You can’t take people off an unemployment line and say, ‘I’m going to put you into a factory where we’re going to make missiles.’”

It's unfortunate, but none of this would be happening if the local authorities would do what they are supposed to do and let ice know as soon as they pick up illegals.
.....but they won't, and as a result ice is forced to operate in those communities.

And this is:

One of the greatest crimes ever perpetrated in United States history against the American people:

Former U.S. Border Chief Aaron Heitke, who served under five different administrations,

CONFIRMS— BEYOND THE SHADOW OF A DOUBT — that he was ordered by the Biden–Harris administration to cover up, conceal, and manipulate data on the border crisis; to deliberately decrease the amount of detention space nationwide; to issue new Social Security numbers to illegal aliens; to provide them with maximum Social Security benefits and Medicaid; to register them to vote; and, in fact, to allow them to vote in U.S. elections.

Border Chief Aaron Heitke:
“We have no idea who or what is coming through our country.”

— Regarding SIAs:
“Special Interest Aliens (SIAs) and known and suspected terrorists…
At the time, I was told I could not release any information on this increase in SIAs or mention any of the arrests.
The administration was trying to convince the public there was no threat at the border.”

— FENTANYL
“San Diego sees between 80% and 90% of the methamphetamine and fentanyl seizures annually for our entire country.
With little enforcement at the border, these drugs were coming through in mass.
During my last year in San Diego, the price for a single pill of fentanyl went from $10 to 25 cents.”

— FUNDING
“To make matters worse, during 2022 and 2023 I had to shut down San Diego traffic checkpoints—which are critical for drug interdiction—because the resources had been diverted to the process and release mission.”

— THE COVER-UP
“I had to release illegal aliens each day into communities that could not support them.
To quiet the problem, two flights a week were provided from San Diego to Texas.
Each flight cost approximately $150,000.
This was the administration’s way of trying to quiet the border crisis.”

“Under pressure from the administration, my headquarters became more interested in the fiction being portrayed in the media, and not at all concerned with reality.
We had 2,000 or more illegal aliens sitting between the fences, asking to turn themselves in.
I WAS TOLD TO MOVE THEM OUT OF SIGHT OF THE MEDIA.”

— CONCLUSION:
The Biden–Harris administration wasn’t just an unelected, illegitimate administration, but a terrorist organization.

Cops Arrest ICE Agent For Whipping Out Gun on Teenager

Police have arrested a man believed to be working as an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent after he allegedly brandished a gun at a 17-year-old boy.

Footage of the Nov. 10 incident, obtained by local outlet KTLA 5, shows the man approaching an SUV on a dark street with his sidearm drawn and pointed toward the window.

“Freeze, police,” the man in the video says. “Put the car in f---ing park. Get out of the car. Turn it off, get out. You’re speeding in the f---ing neighborhood. Come over here, sit down, get your a-- down. You have a driver’s license?”

Contributor: ICE is grabbing U.S. citizens, defying its own rules and the Constitution

Dayanne Figueroa was on her way to work in Chicago last month when she drove onto a street where an immigration enforcement action was in progress. As she attempted to drive around the chaos, an unmarked vehicle collided with her car. Masked men jumped out of the vehicle, guns drawn and dragged Figueroa from her car by her legs. She was thrown into a minivan, taken away and held by Immigration and Customs Enforcement for hours. Dayanne Figueroa is an American citizen.

Trump suit over CA face-coverings ban shows how much ICE has to hide | Opinion

President Donald Trump's Immigration Customs and Enforcement officers are scared that they'll be "doxxed, harassed or threatened," according to a new lawsuit filed against the state of California, which recently banned federal agents from wearing masks and other face coverings while conducting operations in the state.

Good.

Trump's increasingly rogue police force has every reason to be very afraid of the general public, which it is freely terrorizing with near-impunity. This lawsuit against California's anti-mask law, also naming Gov. Gavin Newsom and state Attorney General Rob Bonta, is a farce that should fail on merit in any just courtroom.

"The Trump Administration is once again proving that they care more about their own unchecked power to kidnap and intimidate than they do about lowering the cost of living, following the Constitution or releasing the Epstein files," said Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, in a statement.

Well, he's not going to be able to do it with inbred goat fornicators.

Centuries of marrying their first cousins have reduced their average IQs down into the low 80's, increased birth defects dramatically, and made them violent. They are simply incompatible with Western culture and values.

ICE Raid Mistake: American Vet Jailed for Days

Nov 20, 2025
George Retes, Jr. is a native Californian who enlisted in the Army while a young man, serving his country in Iraq. Wanting to see his kids grow up, he was honorably discharged and got a job as a security contractor in Ventura County, California.
In July 2025, George was on his way to his job site at a state-legal cannabis farm. As he approached the farm, he saw cars parked along the road and people standing around. Eventually he came to a line of immigration agents blocking the road.
He exited his car and asked the agents if he could get by so he could get to his job, but they refused to let him pass. He moved his car to let a group of armored cars and buses pass, but soon after officers deployed tear gas all around his car.
Officers approached his car, giving contradictory orders. In a moment, George’s window broke from agents constantly pushing on it. He was pepper-sprayed and dragged out of the car. George allowed the agents to apprehend him, relying on his Army training to remain calm. One agent put his knee on George’s neck. The other agent put his knee on George’s back. Once they tied George’s hands behind his back, the agents took George into custody, beginning an ordeal that would last for more than 72 hours.
George was held first on the farm, where he was separated from other detainees who were not citizens. He was then taken to a navy base, where the agents took his fingerprints, and his DNA. George was then moved to a detention center in Los Angeles. For the first day, he was not allowed to shower despite hurting from the pepper spray and tear gas covering his body. That first night he spent in absolute agony. He felt on fire.
The next morning, after a psychological exam, he was placed on suicide watch and held in isolation. Despite his repeated requests, George was not allowed to contact an attorney. When he was finally released, the government pressed no criminal charges and never told him why he had been detained. He missed his daughter’s third birthday celebration.
Now George has teamed up with the Institute for Justice and taken steps to sue the federal government under the Federal Tort Claims Act.

There's a super easy fix for this.

All the State and local officials need do, is to start enforcing the law so ICE doesn't have to.

They (the State of California) has all the power needed to stop it.

Federal judge rules Trump’s DC National Guard deployment unlawful

A federal judge sided with local Washington, D.C., officials by ruling that the Trump administration's deployment of the National Guard to the district is unlawful, marking the latest legal setback for the president's use of troops domestically.

U.S. District Judge Jia Cobb, an appointee of former President Joe Biden, blocked the deployment of the National Guard to Washington for purposes of combating crime, but paused the effect of her ruling until Dec. 11 to allow for an appeal. Cobb found that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority to deploy the D.C. National Guard under federal law.

Federal judge orders release of 16 migrants detained in Idaho raid, citing due process violations

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A federal judge has ordered the release of 16 people detained by immigration officials during an FBI-led raid at a rural Idaho racetrack last month.

U.S. District Judge B. Lynn Winmill ruled Wednesday that keeping the migrants jailed without bond violated their due process rights, and he ordered that they be released while they wait for their immigration cases to be resolved. Many of them have lived in the U.S. for decades and lacked any criminal history, Winmill noted. Some are married to U.S. citizens or have children who are U.S. citizens, according to court documents.
