A network of NGOs, or non-governmental organizations, seems to be playing a powerful role in coordinating the large-scale invasion of illegals at the US southern border.

The new website Muckraker revealed a treasure trove of "mass migration blueprints," handed out by NGOs across South and Central America to illegals with details about their route to the US.

Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement on Texas’ constitutional right to defend and protect itself as President Joe Biden continues to attack Texas and refuse to perform his duties to secure the border.

"The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now," reads the statement. "President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary."

It's great that she, and others of her ethnicity are finally coming to her senses.

60 years too late, but better late than never.

Someone needs to show her LBJ's comment about her and her forebearers and how he'd have them voting demoncratic for the next 200 years.

Or this one of his.

These Negroes, they’re getting pretty uppity these days and that’s a problem for us since they’ve got something now they never had before, the political pull to back up their uppityness. Now we’ve got to do something about this, we’ve got to give them a little something, just enough to quiet them down, not enough to make a difference.

Then he gave 'em the Civil Rights Act of 1964 that mostly served to pull many blacks down the economic ladder and created a welfare mentality in their communities.
.....and it's taken 60 years for them to even begin to see it for what those 60 years have actually been.

I find it sad that it took her seeing other people receiving benefits that the government told her it couldn't afford for her and her people, to do it.
....but at least her eyes are opening and I welcome her into the fold.

So when you gonna join us, Searcher? Can you, like her begin to see where your chosen leadership is going wrong?

We'll keep a chair warm for you, buddy. ;)

It certainly ought to. Failure to perform his Constitutionally imposed duties is grounds to disregard him and his "orders".

Texas needs to start the process of removing the bidet from the Texas ballot, too.

Before it becomes too late, the idiot dems need to fully consider the consequences of their actions, as they are taking actions that seem as though they are ok with tearing the nation apart.

I'd like to be able to give them the benefit of the doubt that they know not what they do, but it sure seems as though they know exactly what they are doing and doing it with full intention.

If they ain't willing, send all the illegals to those States, then kick 'em out of the Union.

McConnell casts doubt on border and Ukraine aid deal as GOP fury threatens both

The Senate minority leader's shift comes as Trump pushes Republicans to oppose the immigration pact, seeking instead to wield border chaos as a political weapon against Biden.

WASHINGTON — Inside a special closed-door Republican meeting on Wednesday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., cast doubt on an emerging deal to tighten immigration laws, citing GOP opposition to its provisions and telling senators that linking the two measures could also sink Ukraine aid.

It represents a marked shift for the top Senate Republican, who has been pushing hard for a bipartisan deal to pass the border legislation and foreign aid bill together through the Democratic-led Senate and the Republican-led House.

“When we started this, the border united us and Ukraine divided us,” McConnell told his fellow Republicans, according to a source familiar with his remarks. “The politics on this have changed.”

The shift comes as Donald Trump, who has pushed congressional GOP members to kill the deal, marches to the Republican presidential nomination and as hard-right Senate Republicans have grown increasingly pointed in their criticism of McConnell.

A convoy calling themselves 'God's army' plans to head to the Texas border to stop migrants from entering the US

  • A convoy is heading to the southern border to stop migrants from entering the United States.
  • The group's leader described their tactics as "domestic internal defense."
  • It is not clear what the group plans to do once they reach the border.
A convoy of hundreds of people plans to head to the Texas border to stop migrants crossing into the country from Mexico.

The group, called "Take Our Border Back," is organizing on Telegram and now has more than 1,600 followers.

One of the group's organizers described them as "God's army" in a planning call, according to Vice.

ChatGPT was useless on the last question, but I did find the data I was seeking here:

From 1960 to 2018, the most encounters at the southern border recorded in one year was 1,643,679 in the year 2000. It was less than 400,000 in 2018.

In FY2022 and FY2023, the totals were 2,378,994 and 2,475,669 per:

President Biden vows to 'shut down the border' if Congress passes bipartisan deal

https://www.yahoo.com/news/president-biden-vows-shut-down-172051847.html

Bold and underlined = my emphasis

Biden is seeking a deal for a $110 billion supplemental spending package in Congress that would include border measures to bring Republicans on board to back more funding to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia.

Under the package discussed in the Senate, the Department of Homeland Security would be granted the power to shut the border down when the average daily migrant crossings at the border exceed 4,000 over a one-week period, according to CNN and other media outlets.

And if daily migrant crossings at the border surpass 5,000, the Department of Homeland Security would be required to close the border to migrants crossing illegally.

Two quick questions:
1). So why does the security of OUR border have to depend on continued funding for Ukraine?
2). Also note the wording above. Please explain to me why our border is not already closed to "migrants crossing illegally".

This is politics at its finest. Once again, we get Kabuki theater instead of real, honest solutions.

This proposal simply gives Biden an out. It's designed to enable him to say I offered a solution to "close the border," something the Republicans have been bitching about for years, and yet they didn't pass this bill. So now you can lay the blame at their feet and not mine.

It's straightforward theatrics concocted in an election year to sway opinions; that's all it is.

The federal government is a complete failure.
Where have the politicians been for all these years that the border has been wide open?
DHS? WTF is the role of DHS really? looks like they are facilitating the dispersion of these people all over the US. I knew this agency was a scam from the start.
Where did all these NGO's get funding from? Had to come from Government and from what I have been told when these people get across the border they are put on a plane and handed a debit card loaded with 5k on it. On top of that, healthcare services are being overwhelmed by these people. Americans get fined for no insurance, illegals get free healthcare on top of all the other freebies. Welcome to America.

Maybe chaos is the plan so Marshall law can be brought in. No idea what the big picture plan is but it doesn't look bright for Americans. Unfortunately there is no real solution to end this shit and fix what's gone on. We aren't going to vote our way out of this and I dont see ordinary Americans picking up guns to shoot all these people. I'm not even sure we have a chance to win a rigged election anymore. In 2020 we did nothing about the rigged elections. that's when 80 million should have taken to the streets but sat on our asses instead. Now we see the ramifications of that.

I live in a very small town of about 800. Just ran to the gas station and 3 sheriffs were there with the FD paramedics. Just an OD where they give em a shot to revive em and then they are on their way. Whats the real cost to the taxpayer to keep these drug addicts alive? Drug addicts being fueled by drugs coming over the wide open Mexican border.
I cant even begin to imagine the true costs to American taxpayers when you add up all of this crap.

Makes sense if you think about it. Why should the feds be allowed to just dump 100,000 people into a state and burden the state?
Already we are seeing the results of that. Changing the demographics in a state like Minnesota by dumping so many immigrants into a small location and then getting a congress critter elected in that same district.
Then we have DA's around the country not wanting to prosecute for smaller thefts which in turns leading to many stores being targeted and losing hundreds of millions or even billions nationwide. Then the feds drop off 10,'s of thousands of potential criminals and can turn any great city into a shit hole overnight.
It's nice to see states pushing back. Red states have had enough and blue states just want more money from the feds. The blue states have a point though, feds just cant drop off 100k people and say here you take care of them.

Sanctuary cities asked for it and now they got it. Now they are crying that they are being overwhelmed and need resources.
So, here's how that will end up playing out. They will demand money from the feds and since these cities are all blue, they will get it. Isn't socialism great? It doesn't matter where you live, you will pay for the mess in the cities that have declared sanctuary status.

Yep, we are. I came here after watching the following video and and the first thing I saw was a perfect intro for it, as it shows the results for all to see. Thanks for posting that.

Also, I saw where in Denver, come Feb 5th, they are going to start kicking "migrants" out of the shelters. I'm sure that'll go well. After all, it never gets too cold in Denver in February, does it?

Sanctuary cities asked for it and now they got it. Now they are crying that they are being overwhelmed and need resources.
Yep. I hope they choke on that bs. They only became so-caled sanctuary cities as a way to be against Trump's illegal immigration policies. Now it's biting them in the ass. As Tony the Tiger would say, That's great!

I see this ain't going nowhere fast.

There is a whole lot of election year circus/theater happening on this issue while real costs in human misery/tragedy and tax money are accruing.

Lawmaker says whistleblower tipped him off to 'hidden room' holding migrants at Atlanta airport

Migrants were discovered in a room at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport while they reportedly awaited flights to cities nationwide, a Georgia state lawmaker revealed Friday.

State Sen. Colton Moore said a whistleblower told him migrants were being held in a discreet room in the world's busiest airport, so he sent a team of cameras to the Altanta airport to get answers.

He joined "Fox & Friends" to discuss his interaction with volunteers, which was all caught on camera, after they were adamant about him not recording their altercation.

"We got a whistleblower, who gave us a tip about this hidden room, and I had a full team there with some different cameras in different places, and said on Monday and Tuesday nights, there's just an influx of these people who come to the airport, kind of when the traffic is much lower at the airport," Moore told host Lawrence Jones, who called it "shady business."

Illegals who caught bus out of NYC after attack on police may have gotten free ride from US taxpayers: sources

Your tax dollars at work

Four men charged in Saturday's attack on two NYPD officers are believed to have fled to California on a bus, and unwitting taxpayers appear to have paid for their tickets, a law enforcement source told Fox News Digital.

Came across this on a different site. Looks at immigration from a different perspective.

Broken Immigration Policy Undercuts Potential US Advantage

The United States should embrace increased movement of people as an integral and beneficial fact of the world today, lead the international community in developing a coherent, legal, and humane management plan, and leverage U.S. history as a diverse society to benefit the U.S. economy and society writ large. As a result, the US could restore its reputation, become an appealing focal point for people around the world, and gain significant soft power. Migration is a major part of the world today, and it is an area where China is a non-player. The United States has a notable potential edge in this area over China. Washington should exploit it.

Is the United States inadvertently rejecting a strategic advantage in its competition with China?

The current immigration policy debate in the U.S. centers around how to limit immigration, with positions ranging from extreme restrictions and expulsions to calls to cap the current numbers of people coming into the country. Beyond the moral implications, such policies are shortsighted and 180 degrees wrong from economic prosperity and national security perspectives.

The United States’ restrictive immigration policies undermine U.S. competitive strategy toward China because it weakens the U.S. economy and damages Washington’s global influence. Instead, the United States should significantly increase immigration as a central element of a national security strategy that maximizes America’s strength as a growing, dynamic, open, and diverse society, admired and widely engaged with the world, relative to China as a demographically stagnant, closed, and largely homogenous society. In competing with China, a more expansive and open immigration policy is a potentially major area of comparative advantage for the U.S.

Joe could shut the border down tomorrow, but the dems are using the crisis as a tool to blackmail the Republicans into giving them more money. After which, they will open the border up even wider.

F' that. Only a socialist/Globalist would want that.

Besides, we got no where to put 'em. It's not as though we have millions of houses and apartments sitting vacant just waiting for people from other countries to come live in them. We don't have enough housing for our own people. The fake asylum seekers (all of 'em, in other words) need to go back home.
