BREAKING NEWS:

MIDNIGHT POWERS BRAVE WITH ZK PRIVACY FOR 84 MILLION USERS😱😱

@IOHK_Charles reveals that @brave Ads and VPN will integrate Midnight's ZK privacy tech, giving 84 million users next-level protection.

Do you think Midnight’s approach could become the new standard for internet privacy?

Brave is a privacy focused web browser that you can use on your PC or smart phone instead of Chrome, Firefox or whatever:

Apparently they are working on an integration with Midnight - a crypto project being developed by the guy who created Cardano (ADA):
...
Midnight is a fourth-generation cryptocurrency platform designed as a ā€œmeta chainā€ to augment existing blockchains like Ethereum, Solana, and Cardano. Its key innovation is the introduction of private smart contracts, enabling both private and public states on-chain.

This allows for selective disclosure of information, essential for applications like DAOs, security tokens, and corporate operations, where sensitive data must remain confidential while certain aspects remain public. Built and launched by Cardano, Midnight aims to provide decentralized privacy capabilities across the entire cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Cardano gains momentum thanks to Brave web browser integration

While Midnight blazes a new trail in privacy and cross-chain cooperation, Cardano itself is making major strides in adoption and usability. IO and Brave Software, the developers behind the popular privacy-first Brave web browser, have announced a strategic partnership that integrates Cardano natively into the Brave Wallet.

This means Brave’s millions of users can now interact with the Cardano blockchain directly from their browser. The integration supports managing ADA, participating in governance, and swapping tokens, without users having to leave the privacy-focused Brave ecosystem. The move places Cardano alongside other top blockchains already supported by Brave, such as Ethereum and Solana, and sets the stage for deeper future integrations. Notably, this could include support for Midnight and its privacy-preserving smart contracts.
