Losing money hedging makes sense... forget who but that is also what one of the other Youtube guys said. Because if they buy from me then they'd go hedge buy selling some lower priced futures and they don't want to lock in that loss.

It really does seem like the US market is having problems buying silver. I wonder if this was done more on purpose to keep US silver here in the country

 
It seems like there is a REAL opportunity in here for a business. Someone like King Kong in Asia to help buy up all the stupid Americans Silver. I can't believe that the one or two refiners here controlled so much of the business but that appears to be what happened. Anyone want to bet who controls/owns those refineries?

If you want physical you will still pay $5200+ for an ounce of gold regardless of what COMEX is.
 
silver prices actually came down. Some website hickups but I had some maple leafs at like $83 loaded.... but the total kinda shocked me since its been awhile since i bought
 
COmex spot is $85, but if you want to buy an ASE it's $100.

Biggest Drop in Intraday Price History — Silver Correction​

Literally falling within some 30 hours from the new nominal price high of $121 oz hit yesterday morning, eastern US time.
To the intra-day low early afternoon today, bottom ticking just below $75 oz.
Gold and the other precious metals saw massive price volatility as well, both up and down this week.
The precious metals markets experienced significant volatility throughout the week.
The spot silver price melted down to close the week at $85.26 oz bid. I would have been thrilled a year ago if you had told me that.
The spot gold price touched nearly $5,600 oz spot this week and finished the week at $4,894 oz bid.
The spot gold-to-silver ratio blew up from the mid-40s to close the week at 57 oz of spot silver to buy 1 oz of spot gold.

Yankee stacking channel been quiet lately. Hope Tim is ok. One of his more recent videos he said he was loaded with silver. This big drop hurts someone like him who is not hedged.

I forget where I heard it hear recently but another proposed reason for the Refinery problems. They claim that the refiners were basically switched to run dore from the South American mines that we can get... everything else is pretty much left behind. That would also be a reasonable explanation.

Though I'd like to hear from a mining CEO that says they are actually shipping it north to refine.

How Much Gold to Buy a House?!​

Another wild week for precious metals, especially so in silver, bottom-ticking around $64 oz in last evening's trading.
We're going to get into broader, fundamental evidence on why this ongoing bull market in bullion remains intact, and while violent and volatile, this is a price shakeout on the long road ahead.
The spot silver and gold markets had another mixed and volatile week.
The spot silver price intra-week top-ticked near $92, bottom-ticked near $64, and closed the week at $77.71 oz bid.
The spot gold price showed relative strength versus silver in the selloff and closed the week up at $4,966 oz bid.
The spot gold silver ratio swung wildly in the silver selloff and closed the week at 64, a full twenty ounces over its recent low near 44, only about ten days ago.

50,000 Dow Meltdown in Bullion Oz​

If that clip wasn't embarrassing or confidence-evaporating enough.
All you have to do is look at where capital is flowing at the start of the year to realize the US Stock bubble is experiencing a weakening entropy. A lack of bid and inflow, as well as being outperformed by other stock markets outside the USA, indicates a major trend change.
All I have to do is divide Ms. Bondi's three aforementioned US stock index bragging by the gold price to see the truth, and watch her political talking points and credibility fall apart.
The Dow / Gold Ratio has rolled over. Breaking down, touching as low as 9 oz to buy that US stock aggregate.
Similar story for the S&P 500/Gold ratio: the breakdown and trend of this key real-value ratio have me thinking 1:1 parity is not far off, possibly later this year.
The NASDAQ / Gold ratio melted down after the late 1990s to early 2000s tech stock bubble.
Trends suggest we'll see something similar again. In the current and upcoming rollover, we might again touch 1:1 parity there as well.
The silver and gold markets traded fine this week until Bloomberg's Russia returning to the US dollar system hoax article.
The spot silver price ended the week at $77.37 oz bid.
The spot gold price closed the week basically flat at $5042 oz bid.
The spot gold silver ratio rose to close at 65.
