now we just need them to readjust their sights...choose another target
Having no support from their city's government is a good reason for that.
Can you, for even one second, blame them?
When neither government nor the populace wants law or order, it's a fool's mission to continue to impose it - based on directives given in the past by previous government leaders and supported by populations in the past.
The honorable thing to do is quit. But for many that's not a realistic choice, given our debt-based lifestyle. Nor can we expect Chicago police to act honorably - something they seldom have done in 150 years.
I'm sure they have.
Unseen as yet, is the shakedown of gangbangers. One by one...police, demanding Protection money. Or other favors.
