Bernie Sanders Stops Fist-Fight Between Republican and Union Boss During Hearing: ‘Sit Down! You’re a United States Senator!’

Kevin McCarthy Hit Rep. Tim Burchett With 'A Clean Shot to the Kidneys' in Congress Today

Congress is a full contact sport these days. If you had any doubts, just listen to what happened to Tim Burchett, a Representative from Tennessee who was giving an interview with NPR when former Speaker Kevin McCarthy apparently walked by and gave Burchett a shot in the kidneys. Burchett told his story to CNN on the steps of Congress not long after NPR's Claudia Grisales tweeted out her first hand account of the confrontation and resulting "chase."

First, here's Burchett telling Manu Raju what happened.

Press Release
Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Congressman Matt Gaetz (FL-01) filed a formal ethics complaint against Rep. Kevin McCarthy (CA-20) in response to him assaulting Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) in the halls of the Capitol complex.

In his complaint, Rep. Gaetz highlights Rep. McCarthy’s clear breach of the binding Code of Official Conduct for Members by assaulting a House colleague following today’s Republican Conference meeting. The assault, witnessed by numerous people, was described by Rep. Burchett as a “sucker punch” and a “clean shot to the kidney.” While Rep. Burchett can himself decide whether to press charges, Rep. Gaetz’s complaint will force the House Ethics Committee to investigate the former Speaker’s behavior.

Full text of Rep. Gaetz’s formal ethics complaint against Rep. McCarthy can be found HERE. Additionally, exclusive coverage of the ethics complaint by CNN can be found HERE.

Looks like Chip Roy can't take the madness (or he's a good actor)

Chip Roy Goes Ballistic On Fellow Republicans in Fiery Speech: ‘Give Me One Thing I Can Go Campaign On and Say We Did!’

Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) gave a lengthy floor speech on Wednesday blasting Democrats and Republicans over what he sees as the failed leadership of the country, particularly on the issues of cutting spending and standing up to adversaries like China and Iran.

After throwing an elbow at Nikki Haley for her comment that anonymous online posting needs to end, Roy declared, “This country is in trouble, and the time for excuses is over.”

“No more excuses. No more excuses from my colleagues on the other side of the aisle. But most importantly of all, no more excuses from my colleagues on this side of the aisle,” he said, blasting his own party.

Throw them all out and start over.

Throw them all out and start over.
Throw them all out?

NO.

Arrest and hang them. They are participating in TREASON - turning this nation over to whatever shadowy force/forces control pResident Alzheimer and the Deep State.

Once we have some sort of at least partial control...go through there and MASS HANGINGS. The whole CONgress, their "aides" and their political police. AND what of the bureaucracy can be snagged.

Put bounties on the rest. Dead or alive - preferably dead. Frauds or aid-and-succor for outlaws, to result in the fraud or shelter perp to also be declared outlaw.

Yeah. Gin up the morons...who forget we already SAW Trump in office.

I'm so sick of this. I'm sick of the lying; of the inciting of panic; of the gaslighting.

No doubt Gaetz is a clown and piece of crap (they all are, just a matter of varying degrees) but I'd love to see the list of nominees for this "Politician of the Year" award.
If I were voting, Gaetz wouldn't even get to the podium, falling way behind the gold, silver and bronze medal winners.

Want to boggle your mind? Think about this....
Just how big of a piece of shyt do you have to be for Congress to turn their back on you?

I don't know... which faction of Republicans voted him out? I think what he really did that they can't have, is further undermine the "confidence" in Congress Critters to pretend like they are upstanding people. Therefore, he helped undermine their authority which is the big no-no.

They can't secure the border, or impeach Dementia Joe for ignoring immigration law, and flouting court orders on student loans...but they can do this.

This should tell the RINOpubicans what future there is in their party. Let's face it - the GOP stands for Grandfather's Ossified Party.

Time for energetic conservatives to join ANOTHER party

...the DEMOCRATS.

Think I'm joking? This is how it can be done. Take it over from within, and force leadership OUT. Send that horrid Squad back to Somalia, or Backpage Escort Listings (Aye-Ochk). Leave the crypto-Marxists with no home. Again.

The morons will keep voting D...an advantage. They have no clue what the issues are - they're reflexive, like Pavlov's dogs.

Well, it's official; hell is about to freeze over. I agree with John Fetterman on something.

Fetterman after Santos expulsion: Now fellow Dem. Menendez ‘needs to go’

“He has to go,” Fetterman, speaking Friday morning on ABC’s “The View,” said of Menendez. “If you are going to expel Santos, how can you allow somebody like Menendez to remain in the Senate?”

Fetterman's stand-in double.

If the real Fetterman is still alive, I doubt he's able to talk anymore. Given what he was like BEFORE his medical event.

Now the fun's gonna start. Could be better than tv. A wacko loon ratting out the other wacko loons. lol

George Santos goes scorched earth on former colleagues, vows to file ethics complaints against 4 reps

Disgraced serial liar Rep. George Santos took a blowtorch to former colleagues who voted to boot him from Congress, accusing four of serious violations and vowing to file ethics complaints against them.

Hours after his Friday expulsion, Santos wrote on X he’d be filing formal complaints Monday, beginning with Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-Staten Island), who he suggested participated in “insider trading” — without Santos providing a shred of proof.

“Monday I will be filling [sic] an official complaint with the Office of congressional Ethics against @NMalliotakis regarding her questionable stock trading since joining the Ways and Means committee this Congress,” Santos wrote in his pre-midnight tirade.

More laughs here:

I certainly wouldn't mind if it started a contagion and every single one of them who has something to hide has it come to light.
Create the spark and watch it roar like a wildfire through all of congress. I wouldn't mind one bit.

I will admit, I find it hilarious he's claiming the high moral ground now. What a sanctimonious piece of crap.

Mike Johnson: It's regrettable we had to get rid of a lying, thieving nutjob. But enough about George, time to impeach Biden. It's what Donnie wants!!! An eye for an eye. An impeachment for an impeachment. I'm doing the Lord's work.

From the link:

Still, neither the revelations that Santos spent donor funds on OnlyFans, Botox, clothes and rent; misrepresented his relationship with a campaign organization he founded to other lawmakers for profit; broadly misrepresented himself to voters; lied about founding a charity for animals; lied that his grandmother was a Holocaust victim; nor the various criminal charges that allege he lied to get unemployment benefits, faked a $500,000 loan, committed identity theft as well as several other brazen fraudulent schemes and more were enough to convince Johnson that Santos shouldn’t remain a federal lawmaker.

Later in the interview, Johnson announced that he would bring forward a vote on an impeachment inquiry against Biden, even as Republicans have failed to produce hard evidence the president committed any crime.

As bad as Santos is, he's not the worst person in congress by far. He simply made the mistake of not playing the game by their rules. The fact that Schiff and Menendez are both in office are proof of this.

Could be worth a few laughs.

George Santos Movie in Development at HBO Films

A movie about George Santos is in development at HBO Films, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed Saturday.

HBO Films has optioned the rights to Mark Chiusano's book, The Fabulist: The Lying, Hustling, Grifting, Stealing, and Very American Legend of George Santos, which was released on Nov. 28.

The film from Frank Rich (HBO's Veep and Succession) is described as a "forensic and darkly comic look" at the unprecedented congressional race in Long Island, New York, that led to Santos being elected to Congress.

Swalwell Predicts Kevin McCarthy Will Be Next Expelled From Congress

Published |Updated
Zachary Leeman

Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., is predicting Republicans will move to expel Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., after George Santos got the boot from Congress.

"With Santos gone, you’re hearing it here first: the next GOP member to leave Congress" will be Kevin McCarthy, Swalwell posted to X on Saturday.

"No way he stays. A guy who kidney punches his colleagues from behind is too afraid to serve out a full term with them. I bet he’s gone by end of year. What say you?"

More:

That's rich! Swalwell is commenting on people who should be thrown outta Congress. Freakin' cartoon world...

Yeah. Shack up with a CCP honeypot spy, and you get...nothing.

Have a tantrum, when you're a WEPUBWICCAN...and you get expelled.

What's it gonna take to convince people that this nation is DONE? Dead. Rotting into dictatoral tyranny.
