That's a pretty conventional contraption as far as DARPA projects go.

I wonder what this cost us and who are we supposed to be defending against? Russia? They don't even have an aircraft carrier. China? Anything made in China falls apart in a few years.
A strong argument could be made that that money would be much better spent securing our border. Does it really make any sense to spend a trillion a year on national defense, with wide open borders and millions pouring into the country undocumented?

Russia has a defense budget of a little over 100 billion a year. China a little more than that and the US 10 times that amount. Our spy agency budget is larger than Russias military budget. Russia and China are not the threat everyone thinks they are. Our largest threat is within the DC area.

Yeah, just look at how the US is winning in Ukraine because of a 'defense budget' bigger than Russia's...

The US is really good at throwing (debt) money at problems and never solving them. We have overpasses and bridges in decay because we have defense budgets.

Billion dollar Patriot missile systems being taken out by $500 drones... stuff like that?

Let's print even more money! That should solve it....
