The US National Debt is approx. $36 trillion and change.

The US holds 261.5 million troy ounces of gold with a current book value of $11.04 billion at $42.2222 per troy ounce.

To Cover the entire national debt with the book value of gold reserves, the value per troy ounce would need to be revalued to approx. $139,771 per ounce.

This is unrealistic. If the amount of gold was doubled, it still would make no sense. Unless the currency was hyperinflating.

The solution is to rule the Federal Reserve unconstitutional and skip out on the tab.

Problem is if there is too little or too much gold it will spook the.markets. At this point they probably don't have the 8,300 tons becuase if they did the issue would not exist.

Those AI images are often hilarious. Trump is holding a gold bar that looks about the size of a 1000 ounce silver bar (maybe bigger). That 2000 ounces of gold would weigh 137 pounds, not something one would just hold casually.

We don’t need to worry about that Fort Knox gold audit anymore.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent assured us all the gold is there.

His comments came during an interview on Fox News. Host Jesse Watters asked the Treasury Secretary point-blank, “Have you visited Fort Knox?”

Rand Paul Becomes a Pawn in Fort Knox Gold Audit Debate​

A few weeks ago, Bessent insisted all the gold is in the vaults at Fort Knox.

On Monday, Paul spent one or two hours inside the Fort Knox gold depository and boldly proclaimed, “Yes, the gold is there, all (approximately) 147 million ounces. It is impressive."

With all due respect, Sen. Paul, it is absolutely impossible for you to make that statement after wandering around inside a vault for a few hours. My goodness!

I happen to think we have a TON more gold than disclosed. They don't need to really count it, its vastly more than stated. Just my WAG.
