Whole lot of chatter about a potential false flag drone attack on the West Coast got me to thinking back to this drone mystery from late 2024.

Mystery drones fly near DC-area military base as Iran tensions escalate

U.S. officials detected unidentified drones near a military installation in Washington, D.C., where top administration officials reportedly have been housed, as security concerns mount amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and with Iran.

Multiple drones were spotted in recent days near Fort Lesley J. McNair, where Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth are living, The Washington Post reported, citing people briefed on the situation. The origin of the drones has not been determined.

The base, located in Southwest Washington, D.C., houses the National Defense University and senior military leadership. It also reportedly has been used to accommodate high-level administration officials amid elevated security concerns.

DON'T PANIC! They are not Iranian drones.

They are just the usual extra-terrestrial craft doing their thing.

Stay calm. If Iranian drones do appear, then we will alert you to the imminent danger.

Drone swarms over key U.S. military bases raise concerns

Mar 27, 2026
The war in Ukraine is providing a real-time testing ground for nations defending against drones. But unidentified drones are also an ongoing concern in the United States. This month, a swarm of drones repeatedly hovered around Barksdale Air Force Base in northwest Louisiana. Liz Landers discussed more with retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Dave Deptula.

Maybe someone is still wondering how a couple nukes can get lost between Barksdale and Minot.

I missed that story.

If it happened, it's because someone wanted it to happen.

With the tools they have now, with all the surveillance cameras, all the ability to sniff out emails, monitor cellular calls, observe movement in real time...right down to fleeing liquor-store robbers...if someone gets away with something, either someone isn't interested in catching the perp, or someone connected to powerful traitors persons was involved.

Secret Service statement as F-16s deployed after unusual plane spotted near Mar-a-Lago

On Sunday, in the area where President Donald Trump was spending the weekend near Palm Beach, Florida, the North American Aerospace Defense Command, also known as NORAD, intercepted an aircraft that entered the area.

Secret Service told FOX News that "During the intercept, NORAD aircraft dispensed flares, which may have been visible to the public."

This post and the one below it are cross posted from the Ukraine thread and are related to drone warfare. In the second post they tald about AI controlling drones.

Did you know that over on the https://www.instructables.com/ site there is a 3d printed drone made with common parts that looks like a small version of one of the interceptor drones the Ukes make?

Is this the one?

Cheap drones are reshaping modern warfare — and catching the U.S. off guard: Over the Gulf region right now, relatively cheap Iranian drones are being taken out by costly and difficult-to-manufacture U.S. interceptor missiles. A typical Shahed-136 costs Tehran roughly $20,000 to $50,000, while interceptors, such as the Patriot and Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), cost millions. (NPR)
