There is a loosely corraborated story floating around that the Feds raided an LDS canning facility demanding a list of all the people who were buying long term food storage supplies and long term foods from them. The LDS basically told them to go fuck themselves. They were not amused, but after a fashion, they left. Apparently, those of us who prep are considered domestic terrorists.

Say goodbye to your liberty folks, because Uncle Stosh is coming for us.

Frig!

Even I have more than seven days of food stored, though not much more. One more thing I have to work on in 2012.

GOOD for the LDS if they told the federales to take a hike!

I recently looked up one of these LDS canning operations in my area and was thinking of trying them out, but not so sure now.

As far as having 7+ days of food on hand, I usually don't go to the grocery store more than once per week, sometimes longer, but maybe I'm weird and most folks go every other day.
