I propose a constitutional amendment that declares any law or ordinance invalid that requires UNDER ANY CONDITION the destruction of anything that could be used as food.

Food should NEVER be destroyed. It can be saved or redistributed. In worst case, it can be used for compost for the next crop.

Eventually people will wake up and realize that government isn't needed in about 98% of our lives. They always cause more harm than good.

Pretty soon a law like that could prevent bug killing pesticides....(bug r food)
