Same reason I have State Minimum on my auto-insurance policy.

So as to not draw Ambulance-Chaser loy-yehs...like honey draws flies.

I have little on the books that can be attached, so I don't worry about liability over my insurance.

FWIW, it's not uncommon, now. The woman who careened head-on into me, a year ago, totaling my truck and camper-trailer...she, too, had her state's minimum on insurance.

She also was dead - probably before impact, I think, another Vaxxident. But I put out feelers on suing the estate, and no contingency loy-yeh would touch it. Nothing there - she had a passenger who was critically injured, and HE had claims against the estate, too.

I was told that, emerging from that carnage in one piece, I wouldn't get a lot of sympathy, and there was already nothing left out of the liability limits. Suck it up, Buttercup...

So...yeah. Don't draw ambulance chasers with red-meat bait.

Makes some good points.

Also makes some AI goofs. Like the gas-pump handle pumping gas INTO the pump. Or the transparent paper on letters that are perfectly readable - though you're seeing them through the paper, back side.

Or, a few women working at machining stations, in 1930s clothing. That DID NOT HAPPEN.

Big deal? If you're looking for advice on how to disappear...maybe the advice you get is as slovenly as the graphics and other AI material.

I didn't watch far enough for the AI to tell me how. When AI is telling you something, it's no different from a Fake-Nooze presenter telling you something. It's not what's true but what the Establishment, sick and twisted, wants you to BELIEVE.

There could have been safe ways to do this but the average person doesn't want to know.

I don't think it matters, at this point. The algos will get you.

Your "disappearance" will mostly depend on how powerful are your friends. You will have to have important inside sponsorship - to turn off cameras and Flock algos, to not be able to track your various cards and SIM chips, etc.
 
Missed my chance to disappear May 17, 1980.
If I woulda parked my truck near Mt St Helens then, it wouldn't have been found for few days and no sign of me anywhere.

I already told everybody that I am going to throw a smoke ball like a magician at the end of his act and nobody around me will probably see me ever again. I am trying to figure out what to do with my cats. The wife unit is not capable of taking care of them.

A lotta chances missed.

The day of being an outlaw in one town, and re-appearing as sheriff in another town (like Wyatt Earp or Henry Plummer, down the road from me in Bannack)...those times are over.

Back then, you could have disappeared, re-appeared, and have a whole 'nuther life to have to run away from.

Because - and here's a hard truth - you can leave the identity, the wives, the warrants, behind; but you're still the same person, and with the same bad habits that got you into trouble (or not) the first time.

There's exceptions, of course; but that is the statistical norm.
