I disagree with a few of the author's point, but IMHO he's absolutely correct in conclusion. The system cannot be reformed.

It cannot be reformed because of the people IN it, people not of our values or our areas, but because of the massive central-government structure, have undue influence.

Can you conceive of a workable effective republic, with limited powers, containing such persons as Gavin Pondscum, or that witch governess of Gnu Yark? Go down the list of "Blue" states - their officials, their publicly-pledged values; the deviance and chaos and tyranny they embrace.

We can only survive as free people, with walls and borders. Them on their side, us on ours. Let them work out their own destinies - just as with East and West Germany.

Secession is not desirable - it's a poor choice, but the only choice worse is all the others.
