Somehow save the Titanic and avoid the central banking system. Shoot Wilson.

I'd have arranged to be born 20 years earlier.

Imagine...being a toddler during the euphoria of the first postwar years, the explosion of prosperity for the middle class. Having entered adolescence at a time when a good job was there for the asking, at the Ford plant or any number of businesses. A social structure NOT torn apart from Leftist agitators - Women's Lib, the "antiwar" protesters, re-making universities into Leftist sumps of indoctrination.

Imagine having died of old age, before this increasingly-chaotic Fourth Turning really ramped up.

Do something heroic like, save the Titanic? Odd how little events can change all history. Suppose someone had hit the Archduke's @$$@$$in's head as he was aiming for a shot? Imagine a couple of inmates in a German prison, grabbing young Adolf and sodomizing him to death, in the 1920s. How might history have played out? Would you, or I, even BE here?

No, I'm a coward. I just would have liked to live in a more-stable, more-predictable time in each of my ages. I matured during the Vietnam War. I entered the workforce as the Rust Belt started rusting...no jobs. Now in old age...after three generations of government trying to PREVENT private planning of old-age resources (because they wanted power and control) they are about to default on this unsustainable obligation, with monetary collapse.

I saw my parents' retirement. They lived better, retired, then they had when working. I would have wanted some of THAT.

Save the titanic and shoot Wilson, Hitler is just another artist from Austria...

How would Germany's scheduled Fourth Turning then play out? No Adolf, no National Socialism.

That leaves the Reds unchecked. They were the "other" force in the volatile political scene in the 1920s.

That also says nothing about Benito, over a few nations West. Suppose Benito and Josef found something in common, and then decided to act out THEIR fantasies?

Would you even BE here? I would not. I am the biological result of some migration out of Germany. And my dark makeup is probably the result of some parenting that comes from a teenager spending three years dodging SS and French functionaries and goose-steppers...that dark mindset carried the rest of his natural life.

So. I'm not here; many others; and Stalin and Mussolini paint the world Red for a time. How long would it have taken humanity to bounce back from the inevitable collapse of THAT?

Without the bankers, there is no Great Depression, so no commies or nazis.

Back to high school. Would do a lot of things differently. Service or college? Could do both. Would not take the path I did.

The 80-year Generational Cycle appears immutable.

We had no Communists and no fiat money in the collapse that was the build-up to the War Between the States...but it happened. It seems people grab hold of bad ideas, or take good ideas and run them to bad behaviors (Abolitionists, then). Instead of letting them work through - slavery and industrialization are incompatible; and if the North had just waved bye-bye to the Confederate States, they'd have been back in - without Slavery - in 20 years. Or would have become an enduring ally, just as Loyalist Canada did 80 years earlier. Remember, they went through the same thing - men loyal to King George were driven out of Colonist cities, north towards the British forts that remained on the far side of the Great Lakes.

The same would likely have happened with the Confederates.

But all this, AFTER a Fourth Turning of some sort.

We're due again. Bankers and Marxists are the specifics of our present friction, but the problem is, the moral breakdown, the irreconsilable differences, the brain-stem rage.
