Indonesia seems to be making a play for hoovering up privately held gold in the country.

You might recall a news item from last year when a large religious organization adopted Kinesis gold program. It seems the public there owns a bit of gold.

You might also recall that Indonesia joined the BRICS last month. Everyone knows the BRICS have been buying gold for the last few years.

Now news is breaking that Indonesia will be launching bullion banks to "draw privately held gold into the financial system":
