Trump backs away from plans to charge fees in the Strait of Hormuz as attacks intensify

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) — U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced a reversal of plans to charge a 20% toll on cargo going through the Strait of Hormuz, saying that Middle Eastern countries will instead make investment and trade deals with the U.S.

“Based on highly productive conversations with Middle East leadership, I have decided to replace the 20% United States Reimbursement Fee with Trade and Investment Deals that the various Gulf States will be making into the United States,” Trump said on social media.

JUST IN: Treasury Sec. Scott Bessent just went ECONOMIC ASSASSIN MODE, he's unleashing sanctions against one of Iran's most important revenue streams — the Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani evasion network, which exports oil and other commodities illegally

US Treasury is now SHUTTING IT DOWN

BESSENT: "The Iranian regime survives on deception, and the Shamkhani network is one of its most profitable engines. Treasury is shutting down the financial infrastructure that allows the regime to continue its threats to U.S. national security and global shipping."

TREASURY: "Today’s action includes more than 50 individuals, entities, and vessels that enable Shamkhani and the Iranian regime to continue profiting while the Iranian people remain burdened under the economic yoke imposed by their government."

Blockade in place, strikes being launched, they're being DEMOLISHED.

'Enough is enough': Lawmakers criticize Trump over resumption of Iran war

President Donald Trump sent Congress a formal notification that the U.S.-Iran war has resumed as Washington and Tehran trade fresh strikes over the Strait of Hormuz.

The letter, dated July 10 and confirmed to TIME by a White House official on Tuesday, is seemingly viewed by the Trump Administration as the start of a new 60-day window whereby the U.S. can engage in military action against Iran without seeking congressional approval.

However, Democratic lawmakers have denounced the resumption of the Iran war and the return to active hostilities, despite the interim cease-fire agreement signed June 17.

Both the House of Representatives and the Senate passed War Powers Act resolutions last month aimed to restrict Trump from continuing the war.

Iran is whacking ships and it's next door neighbors —
but seem to be leaving the hebrews alone.
looks they're a little bit chicken-shit to me

We moved all our good anti-missile stuff to israel, Iran can hit israel but not very productively. Iran is better off shooting its missiles at the easy targets like U.S. bases and ships and oil facilities.

Apparently we are hiding our tanker aircraft at Ben Gurion airport and the Israelis arent happy as it messes with civilian traffic...

You have such vast knowledge of military movements and strategy. Please share your references.

The strategy here is to turn the other Arab nations against Uncle Sugar.

They're in this for the money, of course. Their petrodollar partnership with the US ensured a frictionless, steady flow of easy money for minimal effort, with not even the need for a military defense.

This in SPITE of the reality that Islam and Western culture are at direct opposites - literal opposites. Everything the West forbids, Islam requires. And vice versa. Islam demands a theocracy as God's Government. The West was organized around the concept of separation of government and personal faith...now, of course, Secularism is the State Church, and that is blasphemy to the Moslem mind.

An entire list could be drawn up. It was not idly that the Shah was forced out - in the eyes of Moslem clerics, he was a blasphemer.

So...Iran is looking now to turn their neighboring oil-duchies against the US, and perhaps have them organize into an independent alliance. Or send them into the protection of China. Just force them to reject trade and interaction with the US.

https://share.newsbreak.com/j0bp2um6 The real Jews still refuse to fight... it really should be a hint to the fake jews that this war is not important...

Ultra-orthodox Israelis who refuse to participate in mandatory military service have been temporarily protected after the Knesset passed a bill banning their arrest.

Tens of thousands of ultra-orthodox Jews, sometimes called Haredi, have refused conscription into the Israeli militia on religious grounds. Police have arrested many of these objectors, but they will temporarily be protected from the law. The bill passed the parliament with a vote of 58-54.

Goes right along with Bibi controls Trump... eh?
He does, but not the US military, the US military said they can take them all the way home if israel doesn't like it. We really should seize it as a military base and tell them to pound sand.
