They gonna mandate I carry that phone? That I don't let the battery run down?

Right now, my phone lives on top of my noisy Chin refrigerator. When someone calls, I let them leave a message. I'm retired - it will keep.

I never got into games or "streaming" - I like mp3 podcasts. If I wanted music (I seldom do) I have more on a 1-tb external drive than most radio stations had in 1995. That's kinda where I got them, too - from an Armed Forces radio library, already MP3'd for my convenience.

I never liked web surfing on the phone. My eyes. Now, I have justification - my privacy.

They can try to mandate tracking. But until they kidnap me and implant a chip, it won't work.

Once they do forcibly implant the chip, they can no longer pretend to morality. The Resistance will morph into A Thing.

Yeah, I tried.

He's spending too much time on clickbaiting and rehashing old arguments - "FOR THE CHILLUNZ!!" for me to be able to endure twenty minutes of it. Okay, what I'm getting, is some sort of mandated tool that monitors not only content of communications between client and server, but also some sort of app that can scan your machine.

Yeah, I know...seen this coming a long time. No, I'm not okay with it - but tyranny is never a surprise to people who watch and want to know.

What it means for the people, is we'll be living in a technocrat police state. What it means for me is, basically, the InterwebZ are dead.

In the interim, anything I have that might be illegal, provocative, profane, violating liberals' Microaggression standards...I remove. This computer has two operating systems on it, and nothing else. A few days' worth of podcast sound tracks - for the next time I load up my player.

The podcasts will stop; the InterwebZ will go dark - except for Woketard movies like Mud Brown and the Seven CGIs. They will play to nobody.

We will be living in a dictatorship Hell - but we knew we were going there, did we not?
