Lindsey Graham, longtime Republican senator, dies of ‘brief and sudden illness’​

Lindsey Graham, a longtime Republican senator, former presidential candidate and most recently a hawkish advocate of the war on Iran, has died, his office said early Sunday morning. He was 71.

Graham died after a brief and sudden illness Saturday evening, his office said, without giving additional detail.

He had been in Ukraine on Friday to meet with President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Graham was “one of the greatest people and Senators I have ever known,” President Trump posted on social media early Sunday. “He was always working, and was a true American patriot.” Trump said more details and arrangements would follow. Graham’s family said it appreciated prayers and asked for privacy.

The link here leads to a short and sweet opinion piece. It's pretty good in my opinion and hits the nail squarely on the head.

 
Nothing on the mechanics or possibilities as to how "they" may have accomplished this. Just a nut bag cry "look at me."

 
Fuck him (not literally though).

"Brief and sudden illness" - my first thought was that he was likely poisoned/assassinated.
 
I can find absolutely nothing good to say about this aging, vain, pompous, sexually-suspect war-fetishist, who somehow managed to turn Trump's mind against his own pledges to his own sincere supporters, in service of his, Goober's sexual-fantasies about "War" and "Victory" and uniforms and ribbons and parades...all the things the ghey blades just love.

For this he's set the planet into a spin that could well wind up in nuclear winter. He just left a few days or weeks earlier than whoever follows.

Good riddance, and enjoy that dry heat!

Graham might just have been in the wrong place at the wrong time. If he didn't get blown up by a Russian drone just have an empty casket. Scratch that they replaced the grifter from Scranton so they could do that in this case too. Possible he's had a long time problem being butt positive and his shit just gave out.

He said that back when none of 'em thought Trump could ever win. Just look at the date on that tweet.

You should also keep in mind that Graham would say anything he had to about anyone, if he saw it as a way to stay in DC

He was as genuine as a $3 bill. Same as with all other rinos and dems
