Military flights

I live down here on the Space Coast, just a few miles north of Patrick AFB, and while I haven't seen as many here, my boys down south have been watching C-17 Globe Masters flying in and out of Homestead AFB on regular flights. My suspicion is that they're doing the Venezuela aid flights, but that's just speculation on my [our[ part. Lots of helo activity here though. Seems to me they're ramping up for something.

Hmmm........

I sure hope we don't get wadded up in another stupid morass of a war we have no business getting involved in. I say leave it to Brazil and Colombia. Hell, give 'em guns and bullets, but for Gods sake, keep the troops and jets out of it.

The US Government is the biggest threat to world peace there is.

And psychopaths like John Bolton are openly stating that the USG wants control of Venezuela's oil reserves.
They know that 'regime change' is not best for the people and you havent got to look very hard to see this.

Venezuela's economy is in tatters because it only has oil to export and oil prices have dropped hugely for a long time and because of USG imposed sanctions, the justification for these being eerrr we ( USG ) dont like the way you do things.

Yes when oil was making good money it was easy to promise and deliver the socialist dream and because this was the case for many years, there seemed to be no need to worry about future proofing the economy with a bit of diversity.

Tulsi Gabbard is fucking awesome and may yet save us all from mutually assured destruction.

Trump or Gabbard ?
I would have been a republican voter ( if I were a US citizen) in the past.
Gabbard is a new and positive energy that could impact politics.

Potential for her to be running mate for Bernie ? Could be interesting .....

Her rhetoric on foreign policy hits the right notes. Her voting record in Congress doesn't always back it up.

As BigJim mentions, her positions on domestic policies aren't much different from the rest of the field.

She's burned bridges with the Dem machine, so if she is going to make any waves, she'll have to do it with them actively working against her (ala Bernie/HRC) IMO.
