Very cool Penn, where did you find this? I was amazed to see that 11% of my county receives SNAP benefits.

7% in my county, surprised it's that high actually. Between the booming economy and being nearly impossible to get food stamps around here. Although for some reason on the news I see all the people moving in from out of state for work are almost all getting put on food stamp right away.

13% in Galveston County, TX (+158% since 2000)

My county spans some really poor (and affluent) areas, so I'm not terribly surprised.
