Probably shouldn't say this but I actually thought something similar could be done here - maybe for high schoolers (as long as they were paid to attend.)

It could be like ROTC, but on a different level and should lead somewhere upon graduation.
 
I have no problem with youth groups. We used to have them...the Boy Scouts (now the Ladyboi Scouts) and the Girl Scouts. Which have become a tool of a certain demographic...rhymes with "yikes."

I'm not the churchy type, but if I were, I'd be asking the congregation to form a couple of independent youth groups for young congregants. But then, out here, the Left has burrowed in deep...lesbian "ministers," Feel-Good Empowerment churches, basically a race to Virtue-Signal how Progressive they all are.

I'm sure there's a church or two that preaches the Bible; but then, I'm a Deist. The Bible is a good way to better yourself, but, as the message of (Christian) salvation is anti-logical, requires denial of common-sense and intelligence...and four-fifths of the human population never even HEARD it...my take is, the message of the New Testament makes the Higher Power seem to be petty, dogmatic, ritualistic - like a female government clerk.

If what god there is wants to save my soul, he can just do it. Or impart on me the knowledge how - just as a bird knows to fly south; like a dog knows when one of its pack is injured.

My grandfather was known as a "White Russian" which was a German farmer who migrated at the behest of Catherine The Great (Empress of Russia from 1762 to 1796) to the Volga region which had rich soil for farming. She promised German farmers they wouldn't be conscripted for 100 years. Many German farmers went.

Around the 1890's, as a young man grandpa decided to leave and migrated to the US.
