And in the winter?.... I mean the sun doesn't hardly even come up for 3 months.

Lots of solar scams in FL where homeowners get shackled with long term payments and often need a new roof to install the array. I would find a local guy and build something on the ground provided it was cost effective which is not for me with a $150 average electric bill.

FL has an abundance of natural gas and energy bills are generally inexpensive.

When Terrence Dwyer received a knock on his door and a flyer for a solar panel system small enough to fit on his deck, he was quickly sold. Solar systems that plug into regular wall outlets have been popular in Europe for years and are gaining traction in the U.S. for their affordability and simple installation.

“We thought absolutely, let’s do this right away,” said Dwyer, who lives in Oakland, California.
