@Goldhedge - Most of these posts should be in the Lunatic Fringe or some other thread - they don't really have anything to do with elections. Trump's election is over.
 
CBS: Vivek Ramaswamy, President-elect Donald Trump's choice to co-lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) with entrepreneur Elon Musk, is expected to soon step away from the task force, CBS News has learned. Ramaswamy intends to announce a campaign for Ohio governor as soon as the end of January, multiple sources confirmed to CBS News.

Ramaswamy, 39, had no comment.

People close to Musk have privately undercut Ramaswamy for weeks, frustrated with his lack of participation in the heavy lifting, according to sources familiar with the internal dynamics. There has been friction between the incoming rank and file DOGE staff and Ramaswamy, the sources said, and Ramaswamy has been subtly encouraged to exit.

"Vivek has worn out his welcome," one person close to Trump said.

Ramaswamy recently met with the Ohio's sitting governor, Mike DeWine, about the state's Senate seat left vacant by Vice President-elect JD Vance. But on Friday, DeWine announced he is appointing his lieutenant governor to the post.

President Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States. He is only the second ever to be elected to serve two non-consecutive terms.

Supreme Court Justice John Roberts administered the oath of office to Trump, after Vice President JD Vance was sworn in by Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Trump is expected to sign several significant executive orders later in the day, before attending three inaugural balls tonight.

Trump was busy last night. He signed a lot of executive orders. He also revoked security clearances from John Bolton and 51 intelligence operatives that signed the Hunter Biden laptop letter.

The single most unconstitutional thing Trump did yesterday, explained​

On Monday, his first day back in office, President Donald Trump issued a wave of executive orders.

Some are ridiculous, such as an order purporting to rename the Gulf of Mexico the “Gulf of America.” Others are ominous, such as an order seeking to drastically increase the number of federal civil servants who can be fired at will. Many of the orders seek to implement the kind of harsh immigration policies that have always been at the heart of Trump’s political message.

The most alarming of these immigration orders seeks to strip millions of future Americans of their citizenship.

There isn’t even a plausible argument that this order is constitutional. The Constitution is absolutely clear that all people born in the United States and subject to its laws are citizens, regardless of their parents’ immigration status. The Supreme Court recognized this principle more than 125 years ago.

Trump orders all federal DEI employees placed on paid leave starting Wednesday​

The Trump administration is ordering all federal employees in diversity, equity and inclusion roles placed on paid leave by Wednesday evening, according to a new memo from the Office of Personnel Management.

The memo, issued Tuesday to heads of departments and agencies, sets a deadline of no later than 5 p.m. ET Wednesday to inform the employees that they will be put on paid administrative leave as the agencies prepare to close all DEI-related offices and programs and to remove all websites and social media accounts for such offices.

So paid leave because he cant fire them. They get a long term paid vacation and taxpayers get the bill. It's going to be difficult tp cut anything in the federal budget if you cant get rid of the dead weight.
I'm hoping they can break the government unions. Seems ridiculous to have unions and the taxpayers on the hook for it. Get rid of unions and we can do some serious cuts.
