today, the creation of 'technology' really isn't getting mankind anywhere, mankind as a collective species
imho, what they're really saying when the preach Technology is they're saying, to us: Here's to The Good Life, send us money or suffer FOMO. they're not giving us anything, they're selling us something
let's not let them sell us short
like those beer commercials that sold the idea the women got better looking and sexier the more of their product you consumed
let's examine where that logic got us...

Any Libertarian has been down that argument path. It's the old horse and buggy and putting all those people out of work. Meanwhile ignoring the new automotive jobs or even just the increased overall productivity of the economy.
