This forum software has a feature built in that allows it (if the Administrator enables it) to connect member's accounts to various social media accounts like Facebook, Twitter, etc. so that folks can log in to their accounts here using their connected social media login.

This feature is *not* enabled here at pmbug.com. I feel like members here should enjoy a degree of anonymity with their pmbug accounts and social media giants don't need infomation on pmbug members' activity here.

Anyway, back in early February, Twitter announced that the API which facilitates the connected account system was moving to a pay to use model. Twitter has recently shut down free access to the API and many forums that had been using the Twitter connected accounts are having to abandon the feature because Twitter's pricing model for the API is outrageous.
