I remember predicting last year a dip at the start of the holiday and a recovery at the end and that is how it played out. I waited a day too long to BTFD at the low last year, but still got a good deal.

My expectation (not a prediction and YMMV) is that gold and silver are going to start rising in earnest after the upcoming Golden Week holiday. If I'm right and the historical pattern plays out again, this weekend or Monday should be a good time to buy some physical metal on sale before the sale ends.
